The One Manga/Hwa/Hua You Consider a Masterpiece
Can only be one. The one. That one story that you come back to every time cuz there's nothing else that can capture you like it did.
My masterpiece: "Freesia".
"Freesia" is a psychological dystopian seinen manga by Jiro Matsumoto. I've read it four times and ready to go for a fifth. The story captures me every time, it's gruesome and compelling in the best way, more so than some of the top titles in the seinen genre. I would not recommend it to people who are young or who struggle with violent imagery, which there is alot of.
(Content warning for those interested: rape/ SA and abuse, blood and gore, war, sexual imagery and nudity, mental trauma).
Such a difficult petition, so many gorgeous completed stories(and some ongoing ones with promising future)...
I will say, for me, it has to be 20th century boys. Funnily enough, I could not get into the other famous story of the author, Monster.
