compliment but backhanded?

wt is that one compliment that u get , which might seem harmless but u just dont like it. the compliment is wt they think it is, but for u its just some idk a sarcastic remark.
for me it is people saying that I look so young for my age. smthg abt it dosent right with me. I'm fed up of ts , hearing this 'compliment' almost for my whole life now. it even sometimes feels like being infantalised? or babied too much. its fine if its from my family, i love being coddled. but when its from my peers it just feels like they sometimes underestimate me?
ik people suffer from worse. have insecurities and stuff, but I think being overly 'complimented' or given backhanded compliments is enough to make a person develop trust issues in my case at least. idk the rest.
