well, i don't really have a problem with the fact that the water lily is our national flower, but the fact that people in my country actually cook or fry it and eat it always gets me. it just tastes so bland and watery

Chuquiragua. They’re not very pretty but natives usually harvest them to do spiritual rituals, and festivals so I guess they’re kind of cool.
Our national animal is Andean Condor which is a vulture and it’s even on our flag.
