hi guys do u feel this too
i recently turned 15 and ive been dreading becoming an adult in a few years and idk how to do a lot of basic skills + social skills, idk how to handle myself or how i would handle my future, ive been so anxious since i was like 13 cuz once i grw up i realized id have to take on the role of what i usually see people do for me and then id do it for other kids but no one taught me hpw to do it it might not be a big deal but its probably gonna have an impact on me and i might become a shut in unless i do my last resort. Coz rn its summer so i got summer depression and thought shiet idw be here anymore i found expired(?) pills in my cabinet and ive been thinking everyday whether to do it or not and classes are almost starting and i hate school thinking about it makes me lean onto the decision of yes but i thought about the costs of funerals and stuff so it weighed in my head,, its beenlke 1-2 montths and even if people call it a stupid decision would it really be stupid considering the state the world is in rn?? i feel indifferent to it becoz i thoughf about my friends and family but even if i do enjoy being with them and ido care about them, at the end of the day, i still feel like shit and a lot goes on in my mind, its not like i really want to do it i just dont want to live my life here i already messed up some parts of my life and i can make a change if i wanted to but theres no point if i dont have the will to do it ,,, does anyone relate pls Say Yes
Child. This is my first time being an adult so no I don’t know wtf is going on. I only face what ever life throws at me.
You’re only 15 my child. Be a kid. Just be a kid. It’s okay to think ahead but not too much. Let the adult around you handle adult matters.

i remember being 15 and already feeling like i had wasted my entire teenage years lol…
well to tell the truth, i still feel like this and im going to turn 20 soon. no one really knows what they’re doing in life, really, everyone’s pretending, but in reality, most people find what they want to do in life in their 30s. you don’t turn 18 one ...... 1 reply
Yes. More people relate to this than you probably think.
Reading your message honestly made my heart hurt a little. You sound so overwhelmed, and it seems like you’ve been carrying all of this by yourself for a long time.
Can I tell you something, though? You’re putting so much pressure on yourself to already know how to be an adult… but yo...... reply
It’s my first time replying to questions on internet so i might rant. Honestly, no one knows what they are doing. I mean, at some point you will find out what you want to do, what you are good at, and what you enjoy. But these things don’t suddenly pop up in your mind when you turn 18.

Do you think we knew how to 'adult?' There isn't a program or course you do that teaches you how to act as an adult and take responsibility. We aren't responsible adults either but here we are right? Life LITERALLY goes on and no one cares if you can become the way adults were when you were 15. {I am very bad at comforting and counselling but i'm t...... 1 reply
Yeah you'll turn 18 and you'll still have no idea what you're doing but you're going to be able to say "I'm so much smarter than I was back when I was 15" because the best life experience is kinda just... existing. Being in different situations, meeting new people and making a shit ton of dumb mistakes.

I relate to this a lot, I'm around your age *I will not be saying how old I am, I know how the internet works* I hate school too, I'm anxious about getting older, school starting again, and honestly, everything about adulthood is scary, but nobody just magically learns how to be an adult right when they're 18, it takes time to process it.

Well, i've been there and felt similar. Looking at it now, thinking like this was what ruined me. Not to make light of what you're feeling or going through--just, being in your mind a lot can be all-consuming. Take a few minutes of your time everyday to let go of any burdens or baggage, where you're just...Allowed. Where you don't have to be someon...... reply
Damn, you're 15? I regretted a lot of things I didn't get to do at that age.
You should try to enjoy it! It might sound hard but try to join a club, socialize, and have fun! You're still young, so you still have plenty of time to learn a lot of new things. Be observant of your surroundings, see how people cope and handle stuff. And if you're in p...... reply
