What makes a story “well written”?
What actually makes a story “well written” to you? I’ll read something that’s objectively kinda messy, but something about it still allures me and I rate it high, even when other people write it off as bad. So what’s your bar for well written? And if a story isn’t well written, why does it still pull you in anyway?
The more messy the better

it’s never a straight path. You get hit with multiple problems at the exact same time, like a million different directions branching out from one spot
