What makes a story “well written”?
What actually makes a story “well written” to you? I’ll read something that’s objectively kinda messy, but something about it still allures me and I rate it high, even when other people write it off as bad. So what’s your bar for well written? And if a story isn’t well written, why does it still pull you in anyway?
When they don't spoonfeed you every time a situation and event is happening like you need the phrase "show don't tell" and only tell when necessary. I want to see the complexities of the characters and how the environment affects them and not just the main 2 characters being fleshed out (I like how skip and loafer manga does it).
