What makes a story “well written”?
What actually makes a story “well written” to you? I’ll read something that’s objectively kinda messy, but something about it still allures me and I rate it high, even when other people write it off as bad. So what’s your bar for well written? And if a story isn’t well written, why does it still pull you in anyway?
Story has a plot outside of romance between the main characters. Characters need to have motivations/goals beyond wanting to get together with each other. Pacing needs to flow naturally throughout the story. NO UNNECESSARY RAPE/SA. If your story is a fluffy premise, I don't want to see the characters getting drugged and raped in detail out of nowhe...... reply
