You need to stop reading for a good while. The problem is that you got used to the violence so your brain always need more stimulation. It's not healthy at all mental health wise Like any addiction you need to stop engaging with any violent content and this is the hardest part. Your brain is craving stimulation, dopamine. The "fucked up" things feed your craving for adrenaline. You are addicted to the escapism rather than the meaning of the violent content itself. Would It be alright to ask you what kind of violence stimulates you ? Because I'm kinda a sucker for violent stories too, with gore, deaths and blood etc. But that doesn't mean I feel violent towards others.
