i have a problem. unsure how to stop. call me an addict? seems apt.
not the best place to put this but maybe it is? if anyone else has gone through this and has some tips that might be helpful can you share? even dm if this is too public.
i'm falling down a hole of only being able to consume content with violence. anything else doesn't (for lack of a better word) stimulate me. it bores me quickly and i have to move on. i understand it's not healthy nor is it something i should actively look for (the way i have been, especially recently).
anything with real people doesn't interest me at all so i'm only consuming manhwa/manga/manhua and novels, but there's a fear deep inside whispering a "for now", so really i don't want to go deeper into this hole because if i do i know the way back out will be more difficult. but i don't know how to stop. the urge to consume these contents becomes all consuming at times that it makes it hard, sometimes close to impossible, to focus on anything else until i scroll through violent scenes in a manhwa, i'll liken it to taking a hit, then once i do i'm temporarily sated.
Would It be alright to ask you what kind of violence stimulates you ?
Because I'm kinda a sucker for violent stories too, with gore, deaths and blood etc. But that doesn't mean I feel violent towards others. Maybe I could relate or orient you to other things if I knew what kind of violence attracts you ?
