What is some things that romance fans need to realize?

i'm jst gon start first and say they need to realize that not every fictional couple/relationship is going to be flawless.

basically some dude makes a deal with some rich man to pretend to be a dead girl to appeal to the rich family's grandfather then he (cross dresser) meets the grandfather's grand child and they kinda bicker upon suspicion but eventually get along then they get engaged upon the grandfather's request then idk some time later the story progresses, the grand kid loses his memory and coincidentally runs into the cross dresser years later at a bar or something. PLEASE HELP ITS ONE OF THE FEW STORIES THAT ACTUALLY MADE ME FEEL SOMETHING

- white-knight/savior complex for the MC to “save” the slave
- a plot point for the MC to be a liberated slave, to “earn” their freedom- making it a “cool/tragic backstory”

like- very rarely do series actually dismantle the system of slavery and when they do it’s like- a minor plot point? at least in my experience.

can we all agree that uploading official chapters so that there's two of the same chapters back to back instead of all the official chapters being uploaded consecutively really disrupts the reading experience? like no hate to uploaders because we obviously wouldn't have this site without them but having to skip past a repeat chapter every single time i finish a chapter kinda makes me want to read less. idk if this is just me or if this is controversial but thought i'd ask

I'm currently in the process of catching up with the stuff I read in 2021 and I think I'll stop reading ongoing stuff once I'm done.
It's just that it can get out of hand so quickly and the constant overflow of updates is overwhelming. Every week I'll think "there's ANOTHER update!?!?" even if I like the webcomic.
The thing is, i actually really enjoy the community features like yapping about the last chapters in the comment sections but else it's just so stressful trying to keep up with all the updates and sometimes it feels more like a chore, especially since the chapters are so short and you can't get "in" with that little time.
I guess I'm just a book girlie at heart and prefer reading big chunks at one once over constant little ones.

I've been so confused on whether what I've experienced or not is actually considered being bullied or it's just people being mean for the sake of being mean.

For alittle bit of context, I've been best friends with this girl for about 4 years. She always got verbally bullied like almost everyday. Like actually almost everyday. She's moved since last year because they ended up throwing gum in her hair and that was the last straw. Since then, they've made some comments towards me but it isn't what they did to her.

In my point of view it's more them being annoying more than anything, but I talked to my friend about it and she said that it's bullying.
For example to paint a scene of what theyare doing: two dudes who are apart of the same friendgroup of those people, constantly making small comments to me and another friend in class. Asking if I'm dating him because "girls and guys can't be friends." Which is stupid bc their friendgroup is mostly girls and they aren't dating any of them.
There were some other small comments and them constantly asking stupid questions to me. I can't say it doesn't effect me but it's honestly just more being tired at their stupidity. I don't even react to it so I don't know why they keep trying.

It's a bit long but please bear with me, I just have to get this out of my chest because I'm starting to actually get worried.

So me and a friend of mine I met in the cos com from another city decided on April 1 to set each other as our 'in a relationship' on Facebook (in my cos acc). Everyone started believing it and we found it funny. I was gonna call it quits after like a week but then she suggested we do it for a month then say it was a prank. I agreed because why not? It was just a joke. Then people started taking it way too seriously and I mean DM-ing me and @ us in our GCs to confirm. I just brushed/dodged all of them off because it'll end soon anyways. Then the other day, she says that she was dmed by her friend that another girl who likes her was crying (this girl was also a friend of that friend). It wasn't as serious at the time but then I guess some stuff happened and it became more serious because the girl was seriously heartbroken and was in the same circle as my friend so I had to think of a way out of this because we can't call it a 'prank' anymore because she said she'll 'lose her friends'. Just 2 days ago I had to have a serious talk with my other close friend (who's friends with all the people mentioned above) and pretend like we're actually in a relationship. I explained to him that our relationship was just out of a whim and it wasn't that serious so he shouldn't be surprised if we do break up soon because me and that girl mutually know that we'd do it sooner or later. I downplayed that whole incident in my previous sentence because honestly in reality I was talking to him for like 5hrs. He was convinced, but he really likes our relationship so I feel like shit because I don't want him to. Additional knowledge, he was the one who was shipping the girl and my friend together, he also apologized to me because he might have been the cause for the development of that girl's feelings. Anyways after I told my friend that, she was relieved and told me we should extend our 'dating trial' to 2 months. Honestly I didn't want to but she made it hard for me to refuse by saying 'it would look suspicious' if we called it off after just 1month.

In my opinion there was no need for the extension and now I'm stuck in this fake relationship. She's been acting as if we're actually in a relationship recently too, heck even before all of this blew up she was already acting as if we're serious (I told her to just joke about it or dodge questions) so people believed it even more. She honestly made this whole thing complicated for me when I just wanted to prank people for like a week and call it off. Now people think this is my 'first relationship' when it's not. Now I'm going to have to deal with how to solve everything including the aftermath when all the problems came from her side. I guess I'm just frustrated with how careless she handled things when she knew people were already believing us but she made it even harder to call this all off as a prank by telling them a whole ass story about it and making it look like we're in a serious relationship. If she just followed the original plan we could've come clean easily but now look at what happened. People are even questioning my sexual preference because of it and I hate it. I'm stuck in a relationship I don't want just because my friend fucked things up on her side. I'm seriously going to play this whole shit off after this because I don't want anyone to think this was a serious relationship to begin with.

Anything in latest trend I can wear in 40-45⁰C weather? My build is on the thin side
