I have mixed feelings about religion
I'm personally an atheist, and dislike religion, but I don't hate it.
My mom is Cristian, so are my sisters, my brother.. idk
My grandmother is a Jehovah's witness

humans made god and religion bc they had to for their own sanity and to make sense of their experiences. it's easier to live thinking the 4th child u lost to starvation was god's merciful way of salvation than accepting that they were casualties to a rich man's war.

i think at this point, we are. we are destroying everything we are touching. we are breeding animals in certain ways for our own entertainment and usage. we are over fisshing, over killing, exploiting everything we can lay our eyes on. sigh. maybe human extinction is the only way to save this planet. reply
100% agree TT something I want to add is our introduction of species into native ecosystems. Our love for cats has caused mass disruptions to species who cannot outcompete cats for food, and our farming practices (I.e planting crops that are shallow rooted in areas with traditionally deep rooted plants) have caused soil erosion. The way people see religion nowadays is seriously sad. I'm a Muslim, and I was born in a Muslim household, so I didn't really have a choice in that matter.
