Hmm... There are a lot of things about yaoi that make it attractive to me.
First off, I love the way the male body looks. (▰˘◡˘▰) Especially the way that they tend to be depicted by the mangaka. I guess the best way I could describe it would be to call it a healthy slenderness that doesn't involve an excessive amount of muscle? Not sure i...... reply
My reasons of liking yaoi:
1. I love male's body a lot. I look like an innocent girl but actually i am a pervert bastard who drools when there's a creature called male (sometimes i drool over beautiful female too) So seeing two cute/handsome males having sex with each other is heaven for me.
2. Usually shoujo has this cute, cheerful, innocent main ...... 1 reply
Though I am a straight twenty-something year old woman, I found the thought of gay male couples interesting in both literature and society. When I began reading manga online and found yaoi, I read a few and was hooked. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Compared to shoujo, yaoi sometimes seems a bit more realistic as far as character reactions to romance t...... reply
Maybe because it's... different? I like unique things I guess so I think yaoi is different because it shows how not only straight couples can find love, gays can too. Plus, I think society shuns gays more than lesbians bc everyone loves lesbos and titties and dat ass (including me lol) but I think people don't like the gays because "they're guys", ...... reply
Hmmm... nice question...
I would say... the drama? Everything is way too dramatic in the gay world, even irl LOL. Also, yaoi has lots of great psychological works that are awesome and I've never seen in other genres... including psychological itself xD

i got attracted to yaoi because the plot is way too different. the way uke and seme in yaoi act normally different from what i found in another romance genre.
i before i sign myself in yaoi world, i never sure about watching a new anime. i sometimes get pissed and bored when the main character is a boy. it's like, the girl is... i dunno.... i don'...... reply
my first anime, i wonder. it's between kamichama karin and hayate the combat butler. but i remember that time, i'm still aroung 4th grade.
for my first manga, i believe it's between vampire knight and puppet house (one of the local comic). reply
around 6th grade.. i never read manga, so i'm not used to the manga-like art. the first yaoi i read was sekaiichi hatsukoi (it's the most popular anyway dat time) and all i can think about it is
"how can the bloody main chara have such a big and weird eyes oh God. how can the big guy have such an unnatural body proportion. the hair is awkward. who...... reply

I think as long as no one saw that, it's fine xD reply
If there is Yaoi I only started reading for the smut part, but I got so carried away through the plot that I worry more about what happened instead of the smut.
It's like if you came for the porn, but stay for the plot xD reply
"Oresama Teacher" maybe?
It's about a delinquent girl, who was once banchou and now tries to be normal (her mother's wish). With comedy, harem(?), cool fights, drama and romance.
It's perfect if you like shoujo. reply
My first manga was the Di Gi Charat series book "leave it to piyoko"my friend Elli gave it to me in 4th grade. Then it was Naruto, then Shugo Chara, etc. my first anime was Naruto. I have so many fond memories pretending to be ninjas with my friends in grade school. I especially loved staying up late at night and on rainy days snuggled up on the c...... reply
I love yaoi but I've never wanted to be a boy because of it. I like being a straight girl. But I must admit, it's made me think of getting poked in the butt. >_> everyone has a butt. So everyone can experience some bottom/neko/uke love. 2 reply
Most of my friends know, heck I even got my straight guy friend to read some! And I got my best friend into it, and two other friends already read it. As far as family, my sister knows but other than that no, and it should stay that way. In the beginning though, I was totally paranoid my friends would judge me, but I shouldn't have been. 1 reply
Only my second older brother know that i'm reading yaoi (⌒▽⌒) Well, since i don't have any sister siblings, and you can say that he was the closest member of my family that i'm comfortable with to share whatever thought in my mind. Maybe because we fought a lot since we were child, even until now we always argue about trivial things ╮( ̄...... reply
