I was about 6 oddly, it was a weird ship between to male characters from an anime I never found. I didn’t realize it until I was about 10, and then I started to watch more yaoi and read it. I dislike this trope too, since I have seen in many works where the the guy was clearly straight, but since now he's attracted to other dude, he is suddenly gay. I mean, just say you are bisexual, it's not that hard. My first anime(s) were GeGeGe no Kitaro, Minashigo Hachi, Mahou Tsukai Sally, Ogon Batto, just to name a few. Japanese anime shows were my Saturday morning cartoons when I was 4-5 years old, early 1970's in Yokohama Japan. reply

Don't do it. I made this mistake and I am regretting it to this day. It was my very first relationship - I was 18 and got confessed by guy I didn't like nor found attractive. Well... It was a mix of a lot of things, I was embarrased and kinda weird watching those things but at the same time I was like "WOOOOAAAAA OMFG THIS IS ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS I WANT MORE SO DAMN CUTEE" you know..
