I read a ton of yaoi all the time, and I enjoy it a lot, but I don't really consider myself a fujoshi. I think it's mainly because I never ship any characters together. I understand why people do ship characters, but personally I don't have any emotional appeal to ships. I read yaoi mainly out of boredom like for entertainment, so I only get emotionally invested in the story like half of the time so I never really care about ships or who ends up together in a story. I just read to see how the author decides to develop the story and who they favor at the end.
Hiya! I'm 17 and I started reading yaoi when I was about 13 i think.
It doesn't really mean anything significant to me; mostly just a form of stress reliever to escape my hectic life for a bit. I grew up going through novels within the span of a week, so I get most of my reading habits inherently like that. It just sooths me.

Yaoi is kinda a stress reliever for me now, makes me want to start fantasizing about a happy life I could have.

Hello ^^"
I guess I'll join this thread since I have been thinking about reaching out the past month to meet more people. I'm terribly shy and awkward, so making friends is not my strong suit. It's kind of gotten me to the point I don't really have anyone to really talk to, but I'd like to improve on that.
From my readings on here it's kind of ob...... 1 reply
I think about everything and everyone from every angle and possibility and often focus on the meaning of the universe, if I'm a good person, where my values lie and if they're worth it and justifiable, and how i see and interact with others. When I look into someone's eyes, I find myself searching for something that I have yet to understand. Basica...... 3 reply
Its "Ang taba mo!" translated as "You're fat!" as a greeting. Its like bruh what kind of greeting is that?! Not even a Hello or Hi or How are you? ugh.
I also hate that "When are you getting married?" that the elders say in family gatherings. I cry internally everytime. Marriage is not important to me. I even feel like its some sort of cage as he...... reply
I (24F) have a big nose. Since I was a kid I feel that whenever I touch on the subject "my nose" the automatic response from others always revolves around something like "Oh! But you are beautiful! Don't worry" or "It's not so big, actually I think it's cute!"
Which made me create the (dumb) idea that big nose = ugly. Leaving aside the trauma and ...... 1 reply
'Things' are your daily life experiences by which you get to know the world around you. Tell others about the things you did, may it be cool, sad, crazy or funny. You can also find things that you might want to do and a friend to do it with!
