I think that if I'd be in your shoes, I'd try to say to the other party that they might be interested in guys too~
I mean, if you'll talk about it as a possibility, a chance, they might talk about gay relationships and discover each others interest (out of your advice, like saying- hey, do you want me to find out if he's interested in guys? idk).

It's only my personal opinion, but I think you have right to say something and more importantly to be honest to them. If they ask your opinion and come for advice and things like that, then it's just normal to me that it works in both ways. Just be honest without being rude.

Hi guys, well I really need an advice about something. My best friend ex boyfriend is in love with my cousin the problem is my cousin have a crush on him too buuuut both of them are closets bi? I'm gay, and I read Yaoi not only because I enjoy it, but also because it's one of the few genres that showcase gay romance and sex. Representation is important.

Well yaoi is made by straight women for other straight women. So my answer is no.

Does reading Yaoi make you gay? A lot of people have that assumption. I mean people give me the –_– face if they see me reading BL. It's getting nerve wrecking. I support LGBT doesn't mean I practise well if that's my sexual orientation I wouldn't mind though cus for now I'm ¿.
