Genuine question, why are people racist or homophobic? I really don't get it. I know some people point to "statistics," but I don't think race or ethnicity determines whether someone's a good person, a bad person is just a bad person, regardless of background.
Is it some kind of moral-superiority complex? There's a saying that fits, "a society of sinners judging others for sinning differently." So genuinely, what do people even get out of being racist or homophobic?
When I see someone of a different color walking down the street, I don't think "ew, they're this or that." I really don't get it, and honestly I'm kind of confused. I have a hard time understanding things and emotions sometimes, but genuinely, what's wrong with having a different skin tone, or being LGBTQ?
I know certain skin colors are treated as a beauty standard in certain countries, and I've heard some people are racist because certain ethnicities or races don't fit those standards. But I think beauty standards are idealistic and nonsensical, I genuinely believe everyone is beautiful in their own way. I think people care too much about what others think. The only way to truly know whether you're attractive is by forming your own perception of yourself. If you think you're ugly, you're ugly. If you think you're beautiful, you're beautiful. Nobody can deem someone else attractive or unattractive, because beauty is subjective, everyone has different views and opinions. But still, I really don't get it, what's wrong with being a different ethnicity or sexuality? What’s your opinions and thoughts on this.

10 Years where I love you the most is a classic tragedy story. I was sobbing uncontrollably when the tragedy tag really took front and center in the story. I guess what really made it sad was the mc’s pining and his untimely death. Another one that follows this is Spring Snow (Yaoi) is always makes me sob, and is the classic “gays aren’t acce...... 1 reply
I remember reading long ago a BL called 'Smells like green spirit'
It portrays the life of three gay teens, the difficulties, the internalized homophobia, a lot of the manga focuses in the relationshio of the three main characters and their mothers.
Idk I read it in a time when me and my mother were in a rocky situation.
Its very realistic and a...... 1 reply

The one that I read which was the most saddest to me was Blue Flag. Its not necessarily a BL per se (focuses on heterosexual couples) but it's really good if you want your heart to throb with sympathy for one of the LGBTQ characters! It is more bittersweet than sad but I have read a lot of LGBTQ +with 'sad' themes. None have made me more emotional ...... 1 reply

Also have venephobia so after that the doctor had to check my pulse for an irregular heart beat (i was wat...... 2 reply
I’ve been racking my brain trying to think of the saddest BL I’ve read, and honestly it’s been hard.
In general I avoid series that seem sad or hopeless, but after a lot of thinking, I remembered this none.
It may not necessarily be sad, but it’s hopelessness makes me uncomfortable.

'Things' are your daily life experiences by which you get to know the world around you. Tell others about the things you did, may it be cool, sad, crazy or funny. You can also find things that you might want to do and a friend to do it with!
