I do think majority of parents intentionally/unintentionally gives their children traumas and insecurities. I have a fair share of traumatic experience (I don't actually know if i consider some of those as trauma since I don't actually feel a particular emotions abt those certain things). I used to struggle with food a lot a few years ago and I refused to eat at some point so my parents made me sit at the dinner table for hoursss and make me look at pictures of anorexic people the whole duration, in hindsight they were obviously worried for their child but i wish they went about it in another way because now I have an irrational fea...... 1 reply

So I had a TERRIBLE week. I started training at a new job, and it’s been extremely stressful. I have a test in a few days, and if I don’t pass, I’ll get fired.
On top of that, I have to get my driver’s license, so these two things couldn’t have come at a worse time. I can barely sleep, and I’ve lost 3 kg in just 7 days. I also have narcolepsy, so I fell asleep during my driving lesson, which was really embarrassing.
I called my boyfriend to vent, but he was so mean. He literally called me dumb for falling asleep. I told him I was really stressed and that joking wasn’t the best thing right now, but he kept going. So I told him to fuck off.
Then he had the audacity to complain about me saying that. I explained that I’d been having a terrible week or two, but he still kept insisting that I shouldn’t have said it.
I know people can’t always match my mood, but come on…
So, what do you guys think? Should I apologize?
