No. Creation necessitates putting a bit of yourself into your work, that includes your beliefs and biases. Intentionally or not, it happens regardless. More eyes on social issues sounds like a good thing to me anyways!

Depends on who's making the complaint, what they're complaining about and where they're complaining. If the one complaining is actually not affected by issue therefore does not lose anything out of complaining about it, that's privileged. However, if the one complaining is affected by the issue and risked losing something because of the complain, that's just protecting oneself. It's basically performative complaining vs digital activism.
