i hate that i read all of this and that it had just enough potential to keep checking back in on it every now and then to see how things had progressed (or not progressed -_-) too bad. its not awful tbh, its just ok. i think i had hopes it would be a little more...thoughtful? than it turned out to be but perhaps thats my fault~ (anyway as is the case with alot of these korean BLs the straight gaze is just overwhelming here) and the story doesnt rly do the best job of convincing me how these two could or would or should work as a couple. it spends more time having them fuck than like actually connecting and knowing that sex scenes can absolutely be used to show a couple getting closer with each other and yet they p much almost never were...yeah. disappointing is how i would define this series overall. basically i wouldnt bother unless u REALLY love omegaverse, in which case this is mid tier. not horrible but not great either. just...ok.

this was....so underwhelming. i could say more but that almost feels like a waste of my time. lol it sounds like i hated it but i didnt i just left the story feeling unsatisfied and kinda bored. but not enough to quit the story mid way. just seems like ti didnt do anything interesting with its omegaverse premise, the love story isnt very romantic or angsty or charming. the bickering isnt rly all that clever or funny. the comedy itself is just very broad. the art is fine and the sex scenes are also fine, not esp erotic but fairly naughty. its too long to be a quick smutty read before bed but doesnt use its length to tell any kind of compelling story. the fact that it ends without either marking, marriage, babies or some other kind of Commitment (and the love making scene is weirdly short and inconsequential despite all the build up to it?). at the end im still not entirely convinced that the alpha is esp invested in the omega and thats a shame. in the end not bad enough to give it 1 star but not enjoyable enough to give it more than 2 (and also their hatred is based on almost nothing, and again doesnt even use that pettiness to be actually funny) there's a better version of this story that ive read elsewhere.

this wont be a real review, rather i just want to say that This is the kind of juicy interpersonal type drama i live for in my erotic fiction. (or rly any fiction tbh)
EDIT: currently on hiatus. raws for chpts 12 and onward can be read on pixiv for free. right now there's 13 chpts in total and the comic has been on hiatus since April 26th. the author seems like she updates once a month tho. so who knows when the next chpt comes. at any rate idk when the translation team will get back to it either. so for now...its going on Already Read cuz i have no idea when ill get to resume reading it.

i love this SO SO MUCH. its a great mix of actually funny, actually sexy and actually! romantic. like damn triple threat. the premise is also pretty creative and fun. the art is great. as far as BL goes its not burdened with annoying Straight Gaze-y type tropes and if its possible i would rec getting ahold of the BLCD because it only adds to the greatness of this series. (im so sad its over)

VERY wholesome and sweet but genuine stakes, so not just fluff. also interesting worldbuilding. the tan boy is beauuuutiful. no sex yet (2 chpts in rn) and idk when or how it will appear but i do know its a spinoff of a much longer BL series that i confess im not in a rush to try out (but i do intend to at some point). anyway i do enjoy my plottier BLs and fantasy genre in general so coupled with the nice art im feeling optimistic about this. it has alot in common aesthetically with sahara no kurowashi but alot more pure, wholesome and uh consensual. its also got less sex scenes overall. (tragic!) but a good story with an interesting fantasy world.

..........meh. potion has made better hotter more nicely illustrated webtoons than this. feel free to skip. (giving it 1 star is too strong cuz i didnt feel enough about it to say i hated it)

gonna keep this brief and just say this is a definite improvement on the first volume of this series and is also Alot funnier as well. basically the tone is more Happy Kuso Life and less Color Recipe if ur wondering where on the Harada spectrum this story falls on. (altho there's merit to both their styles of work i find the ones that trend toward dark humor are more to my taste than the outright dark or horror esque stories. but then u have Yatamomo which is kind of both at the same time? idk)
