Just read from the start, it's more enjoyable that way. But if you want to continue from the manhwa, the current chapter 89 is chapter 151 of the novel.

I'm trying so hard to remember but I think I cried when I read a shoulder to cry on and maybe hate mate. Either I cried or it was so painfully angsty my stomach hurt. If you read danmei, I cried a crap ton when I read the husky and his white cat shizun. However I read this when I was younger so there's a chance I was an emotionally turbulent youth that cried to anything. These are also all popular titles so there's also a possibility you've read them already, but I tried my best
