But but... the previous two stories by this mangaka that were set in this dorm had plot and feelings and build up and - especially - comfortable pacing (if occasionally fast, still felt okay) and everything, what's going on with this one??

    Isha6k June 12, 2020 7:49 pm

Omg i just thought that, This one has a whole different atmosphere
But i'll still give it a go since i like the mangaka

    suzxi November 13, 2020 9:49 am

Yeah right? I was so confused. The second couple from the previous story has this fluffy squish cutie soft relationship and reading this I was like "WHERE THE FUCK IS THE FLUFFY SQUISH CUTIE SOFT VIBES?".

    kamiha February 12, 2021 3:06 pm

This was the original story. The other two are sequels to this story. I think that's why it felt different. Maybe the author originally wanted all the stories to be like this.

Nonononono NOT OKAY TSUKASA

Tatsumi-san: I won't have sex with you until you truly like me.
My jaw hits the floor.
I pick it back up and keep reading.
Tatsumi-san: Wanting to make someone happy and having sex with them are two different things.
My jaw hits the floor again.

We're not in Kansas anymore, Toto. It's as if this manga uses actual logic logic instead of yaoi logic!
I really really hope someone continues translating this one

I'm having some issues with this manga's lore. I'm pretty sure (from the latest chapter especially) that "gender differentiation" refers to whether B.O.B. can bear children? Which doesn't actually make sense as "gender," they're all pretty obviously gendered as men, including Nishiki. "Secondary sex characteristic differentiation" would make more sense since it's biological sexual characteristics that are linked to reproduction. Gender isn't. Unless "gender differentiation" means that a pretty large number of beastpeople are trans? In which case they *would* choose/figure out their gender, and some B.O.B. who were gendered men *could* bear kids (which would be a pretty awesome and original setup). But they'd know from the start whether they could bear children because again, that's biological, nothing to do with gender.

I personally could have done without this altogether since I dislike mpreg in manga (to be clear I do not have any problem at all with trans men bearing kids though), but whatever. I like the mangaka, I read, unless it's omegaverse tagged with mpreg. And I really like the beastpeople aspect.

Leaving that aside. I'm going to have to assume that the Lycan dad is the one who's bearing the kid since the human dad is HUMAN and, as established in the first or second chapter, humans don't have "gender differentiation" in this world, only B.O.B. do.
Edit to add: I checked and the human dad said "I already entered the stable period" so unfortunately I think the mangaka might have f'ed up and forgotten their own lore

    Peach May 28, 2020 2:44 pm

It was written on the cover of chapter 3 that it is possible to artificially make a Nier male pregnant.
But I don't know why they made the human dad the one who's bearing the baby when it will be easier if the BoB dad is the one (since his body is designed to be able to bear a baby). Maybe himan's semen is too weak to impregnate a BoB? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I really am not enjoying this. I keep reading thinking, "Surely it's *supposed* to be a horrible situation for Lamudan and we're going to see clearly that this is not meant to be a typical love thing" but now with the addition of the 'rogue older brother' trope, it doesn't appear to be happening.

This was just awful. The whole thing. Except the art, sadly it's really nice art wasted on a terrible "relationship." This guy sets up the whole entrapment situation so he can essentially kidnap Lamudan, and drugs him repeatedly to turn him basically into a sex slave (in the extra when L wasn't cooperating he's like "I thought I wouldn't have to do this anymore but oh well" and gives him more drugs). At no point does he treat Lamudan like he is an individual with a mind and will of his own, or give a single shit about what Lamudan actually wants. Yeah, how romantic. Lamudan should kill Uruji and escape to find happiness somewhere far away from his shitty "husband," and his shitty village.

If that IS how the story ends (or something similar) then I retract, it's not a typical story in that case and the exploitation and manipulation everywhere Lamudan turns is actually kinda well done. As it seems at the moment, though, it's an atrocious attempt at a love story that should have been allowed to die as a single volume.

Why bring in the older brother? To try to make readers forget Uruji's awful character by making his brother even worse? Hopefully there's a plot twist, Lala enlisted the bro to bring Lamudan back, he helps L leave (even if he's only doing it for some reason of his own), and Uruji can curl up and cry by himself until he finds someone new to trap and exploit.

Okay, personal opinion rant over!

    Sorry, didn’t mean to dislike ( ̄∇ ̄")

    sweety1997 May 27, 2020 10:45 am

In real life today, Ujuri would go to prison and Lamudan would have to be treated because of heavy trauma...may be stock holm, surely some ptsd and many other issues because so much crap happened and took everything from him...

Nyxmeow May 22, 2020 8:25 am

I'm definitely in the minority on this! That's fine, but here's why it isn't great for me. I couldn't remember the story, so I reread from the beginning, and mmm... yes and no, but mostly nope. I'm not saying it's bad or anything, the art is really good, and there are some other good aspects. I remember I really liked Kimi to no Dogfight, but this one isn't as good overall. Lots of cliches, a couple of which land squarely in the "negative" column. (Spoilers ahead.)

I know there was absolutely no way in yaoidom that it wouldn't happen, but I don't think Akira should have forgiven Seo after the shit he pulled in chapter 3, or at least nowhere near so easily. Jealousy and inexperience are no excuse, it's been said plenty before, people should freaking well know that you don't try to force your dick into someone unwilling. Fucking talk about it instead of pulling your dick out, moron. And this is one of those times that I get suuuuper annoyed with the "helpful" friend (helpful for the plot, that is) who tricks or forces someone into making up. Tsuda had absolutely no idea what had happened between them, so he should not have meddled. Akira was perfectly entitled to never speak to Seo again. If anything Seo should have had the guts to reach out and apologise properly, but instead Akira was tricked into going and asking Seo if HE was okay???? Not cool. And then magically! all is forgiven.

On the positive side though, Tsuda was a great friend in the flashbacks and Akira's back story was well done. I like the way his ex was portrayed as a massive prick quite subtly though their whole relationship, leading up to the inevitable (and obvious) conclusion. The "slutty uke who actually has a fragile, frightened heart that was hurt by a past relationship, but by the power of the seme's love is healed!" is a very cliche plot. The 'sex lessons' thing was a fairly fresh set up, so I guess we can't be too greedy for originality? Although, what happened to that set up? There wasn't really much "teaching," I have to say. And as I mentioned, there were lots of cliches tbh.

Well, this is just my personal opinion. Feel free to discuss and/or disagree! But if you're going to be rude... just don't. <3

    Lady P0ny May 22, 2020 8:33 am

You said your opinion without being rude and all you asked was for people not to be rude to you because you said what you think. I think we need more people agreeing to disagree in this site instead of fighting and downvoting different POV, so you have my like (even if I don't agree with all you said). ヾ(☆▽☆)

    Lady P0ny May 22, 2020 8:35 am

oh, and I forgot to say: I super wgree with what you said about chapter 3!

    *agree

Well, at least reading this wasn't a traumatic heartbreaking experience like Lonely to Organdy.... although LtO was so goddamn beautiful I still like it way better. Honourable mention also to Stars Spica Spectre. Both of them made me ugly cry.
Man, this story was fluff but it's brought up my ghost yaoi PTSD.

Nyxmeow May 13, 2020 9:48 am

They are adorable and the story is lovely, but this manga accidentally taps into a massive pet peeve of mine! (Pun not intended but a happy coincidence.) Now he's going to have to get 5 cats neutered. If Tsuchiya had been a responsible pet owner and gotten Maru neutered in the first place like he should have, there wouldn't be an issue! There are too many poor little cats and kittens who need homes already, don't fricking add to the number. Every kitten that people let their own cats have means one more kitty that potentially gets put down at a shelter because they run out of time to find homes for them.

    Nyxmeow July 30, 2020 2:07 pm
This reply will be showed after approved! KeepYourHeadUp

So he'll have to get all 5 of them neutered, like I said! Or else they'll just keep having more kittens - even sibling cats will mate when they go into heat. And Maru and the mother cat could have a litter per year. What are they going to do, keep ALL of them?? It would have been far far simpler and better (not to mention cheaper) if he had just had Maru desexed when he adopted him. That's what responsible pet owners do.

Call me crazy but I have a problem, not with cousins in yaoi, but with teacher x student! I'm a teacher (primary kids though), so that's why. I have really, really strong feelings about teachers' duty of care and responsibility in positions of trust, influence and authority.
I can put it aside mentally because hey, it's fiction, and fantasy gratification for people who I assume (hope) are NOT teachers! But I still can't fully enjoy those relationships because deep down, my feelings against it are too strong.
We all have certain things we just can't get comfortable with!

Nyxmeow May 9, 2020 1:55 am

Didn't like the mangaka's choice to have Sakura stop him from using a condom. He could have shown desire and impatience by just clinging to Yukihira and saying "Hurry!" or something. Besides, it takes like 3 seconds to put one on - and it actually gives sex scenes a good vibe, for me, when you can see that they're using protection (even just incidentally in a close-up panel). Being responsible is sexy!

    jadeghost May 9, 2020 2:31 am

it bothered me too bc he went through all the trouble to pull one out and start opening it just to not use it. what a waste. and for what?
