I don't get the hype over Soohyun. He has a severe inferiority complex that he let someone better than him haunted him forever. When the guy, Eunsang, fall to a bad situation Soohyun took pleasure from it. Then he approached Eunsang, trying to closely watch Eunsung's downfall for his selfish satisfaction. He thought he can control Eunsung and everyone else like a chess piece, but instead he just playing his own self like a clown as he's like an open book. This guy is simply sick.
yeah he is toxic but the thing is, he was lying to himself, he never hated Eunsang, he was in denial of his true feelings. I don't view these feelings as love though, more like romantic obsession, but I believe he fell in love once he started to learn more about Eunsang as a person and once his own self-esteem became better. their final arrangement is still toxic though of course. but this is toxic yaoi, so
This is just so unfair. Aeroc has his retribution Meanwhile Kloff who has done much worse can have an undeserved happy ending in the 3rd timeline. If Kloff at least can understand and acknowledge his evil doing in the 1st timeline, at least there's a little contentment. Unfortunately, no. Kloff still believe what he did in the 1st timeline was justified. Despite finding out the reason why Aeroc acted and behave what he did, he still blamed Aeroc for it. Just a selfish disgusting character through and through
Don't worry, Kloff pays in the third timeline. He ends up miserable, drowning in guilt because he realises that he'll never be able to have the Aeroc he abused and that he will never be able to make it up for him. He'll recognise that it's over, the og Aeroc is forever dead and nothing can change it. The third timeline Aeroc will never be able to fill the gap in his heart.
That's what happens in the novel.

Kloff will live a whole lifetime with extreme guilt, inability to redeem himself which will intensify that guilt, constant nightmares over what he did, how painfully Aeroc died and the knowledge that he'll never get to see his children again. He'll be tormented to what feels like eternity, no matter how hard he tries to change that. Yes, Aeroc suffered in a way that is indescribable, but Kloff will still get punished in a type of hell that is custom made to make him hurt. Take pleasure on that fact, like i do.

Well, now it's clear that Sunbae isn't really into him. For Sunbae, it will be just another relationship that get boring over time. So yeah, MC didn't trust him is a justified reaction with the way Sunbae treated him so far; first interest only for sex, now he only cares this much because he thinks he likes MC and that feelings alone easily fade aways. Sunbae isn't interested or needed him that much. Even if Sunbae can help MC with the other world problem, as the Shaman said, there's no guarantee that Sunbae will be with MC forever. Sunbae too, shouldn't be offended if MC didn't give him trust as just like this, his feelings easily burn over as MC still not choosing him.
MC is a supposedly a dead man. He'll face lot of complications with the other world. The entity can't live without him and able to offer him safety. They're made for each other. MC need safety and the entity need MC to live. Unlike Sunbae who can just walk away, The entity is bonded with MC. MC just need a better communication with the entity about how they're going to life. No more manipulation even if that 'best' for MC. Form a healthy relationship.

It's obvious who Daon should chose, but Daon never experience any good relationship. Even started by the relationship from his parents. He didn't know what's good or bad. He can't let go of Jaemin because he was the first person to show him care and kindness. He can't firmly not be entangled with Soohyun because he blamed himself for everything goes wrong. He keep hurting Songhyeon because he is the only person who loves Daon sincerely. With Jaemin & Soohyun, Daon can only hurt himself. With Songhyeon, Songhyeon can't let Daon hurt himself so it's he let Daon hurt him. This is a messy relationship. The frustration, disappointment, excitement all become harmony in it's own way. I can't wait for Thai adaptation. They really follow the original story instead of tone down the messiness like Korean adaptation.
