He already hates himself so much and at the pivotal moment when he’s thinking he might finally, finally be taking a step towards the love he’s always held in his heart, towards the person who’s always made him feel like a person… oh man

So fascinating what people will do for power! To think that Incheol would allow this to happen to himself for the chance (not the guarantee!!!) of climbing higher in the clusterfuck of the political sphere! Makes me wonder what he’s truly thinking/his end goals… As for Pyeonghwa…when did this begin? At what point did he take violence for pleasure and how much of it comes from a lack of power and a way to imitate control… Just so fascinating overall the way two individuals seemingly totally lacking a secure sense of self and security are battling out against one another. Will be super interesting to see when they both realize that they’re kind of in the same positions just in different spheres; acting like dogs for those higher than them to play fight with. Will also be super interesting to see if feelings will ever come into play, mainly because the author doesn’t really seem interested in bullshit lol it’s so refreshing (but still yet to be seen if they keep it up!) They seem to really want to show the gritty nastiness that comes with this reality and so their development from here will be really important to keep up this tone and the intrigue that is being built. I can totally see a really bittersweet, realistic hard ending to this because well…that’s life, especially in these circumstances.
Yes, what happened was vile, but in the vacuum of the story, and when thinking of reality, this is what was always going to happen lmao. Two unhinged powerless individuals fighting with the only thing they think they still have control over: their bodies. Next steps will be crucial to the development of these psychos lmao and with the way we’re going…I’m excited to see some gritty, bittersweet stuff with that dry unhinged humor mixed in! Damn….webtoon really got me digging deep this morning lmao

I’m excited to see Incheol explode bc I feel like it’s building to that and tbh what’s a better combo than someone ready to rip apart (and so also get totally, completely wrecked lol no control just straight mind blown) and someone that wants to get ripped apart (and also taking control and shifting the dynamic and taking them apart/dominating them) I’m soooooo ready to see all that explosive energy meet and then the aftermath bc things have to change for them both! Two psychos getting together?get ready Miss Rep/town politics bc it’s going to get real fucking ugly lol

I’m pretty sure he doesn’t realize that the target of bullying was Yeongwoon and it might later be a catalyst for maybe two outcomes?: the final nail in the coffin that confirms his worst thoughts that he’s not good for anyone much less and especially Yeongwoo or, he goes full on revenge ready to tear everything down and start from nothing to get back at the people who did all this harm to them both (his “family”) or…maybe a third option that is both of these plus him disappearing, etc, bc to him everything bad and disgusting always come from him and he loves Yeongwoon too much to subject him to it anymore. It’s pretty sad to see how much he’s internalized all the disgust and hate that the people around him have thrown at him. We’re basically seeing, in both Yeongwoon and Seo-in, the two roads possible for children and adolescents to take when faced with such terrible circumstances and horror. The push through at all costs to be normal and happy even at the cost of seeming like a pushover bc they still believe and have hope (YW), or the succumb to nothing waiting for life to end and living in vile empty hedonist disgust bc even the act of dying/suicide would require action and the thought of ending beyond the nothing. It’s really heartbreaking and I’m so damn invested lol I hope they both can find peace ideally with each other :(
