never have i ever loved a manga that included a celebrity/famous aspect in it... BUT THIS ONE HITS LIKE U HAD ME AT "DID U WANNA EAT TOGETHER" LIKE IM SOBBIG IN THE CORNER WISHING THAT SHIT WAS MEEEEEEEEE
i also really enjoyed the chapters where they each had their own pov setups especially when knowing how they really saw each other and saw different sides of one another and OWUUUU when the author added that miscommunication aspect in there, usually i feel it pisses people off to have that trophe, but damn they fixed it fast lol...but i also enjoyed seeing that statement/scene where arashi was just straight up admitting that he wasn't in a position to ask toru to be monogamy with him esp as a sex partner- and YA THAT SHIT IS VULNERABLEEEE(￣∇￣") but anywhoo, the art IS GORG. THE STORY IS SCRUMPTIOULOUS GAHHHH(▰˘◡˘▰)

GAHHHHH HONESTLY THIS REMINDED ME SO MUCH OF ONE ROOM TA... JUST LIKE the comfortable aspects of two lovers and figuring out their lives together as a team and it was honestly so so beautiful to watch the developement cuz honestly i didn't like chan-young in the beginning... i just thought the setup of having a deal to practice with someone felt a bit offputting to me atleast, but then the story progressed and i was... CHANYOUNG YOU BEAUTIFUL BRAIN, like i GET IT when someone hides their true feelings because they're scared and super sensitive and GAHH THE SATISFACTION OF SEEING hyunjin slowly grow romantic feelings for someone other than his longtime crush jeongwoo, U HAD ME. I also love the storywriting in each character tho- cuz i often feel like some characters aren't allowed to be paradoxal or contradictory in BL which feels flattening to me atleast... ANYWHOO THIS IS DEF ANOTHER COMFORT READ FOR ME<3 ヾ(☆▽☆)

tbh i have mixed feelings abt this cakeverse, i just wish there wasn't an age gap that involved a minor even though the story's premise set up p good

first time reading doseverse, it does seem similar to guideverse (which i rlly enjoyed guiding hazard); but atlas. i assume in terms of a symbolistic context, the hyper/notched up world is to, what i assume, represent how human touch/connection/warmth can heal emotional wounds... although there does need to be some line's drawn when it comes to doctor to patient relationships and how often it gets blurred between, like yes you can care about others and patients...even the other docs in the series mentioned how they are uncomfortable with that level of touch that goes further then some. yet the main lead feels super hopeless due his mother's emotional abuse over the years. somewhat feels like the author is attempting to create a sense trust between the two mains yet bc of the "rules" of doseverse, the options feel very limited when it comes what is autonomously chosen and what isn't. for some reason it reminds me of ten count's idea of each main lead having a "puzzle" piece to each other's trauma, like a yin/yang... but i think the world's rules makes it feels restrictive and doens't necesarily create that effect it's going for imo! (￣へ￣)

this top is dumb as rocks...it actually gave me a headache seeking how everywhere his emotions are and how controlling he seemed of his partner, i genuinely dont think i could reread this...bleh

upon rereading this, its way easier to tell whats going on without waiting another week for an update but damn i forgot the pacing was this good and i cant believe the end to s2, this makes me excited for s3 holy moly. cuz hows the quests gonna look like now?

rereading this after my frontal lobe development and i fear its still my favorite. >.< !!! (im not joking its been fucking 8 years) also aside from this being one of my first BL's EVER. just everything from how they both were vulnerable when it came to confronting their pasts and showing their messier sides to one another GAHHHHHH... *crying in the club* imo: this is one of the manga that never seems to feel red flagish to me even after years of time moving forward. like some manga i have trouble enjoying like maid-sama for example... (im sure theres other yaoi that applies i just cant remember it off the top of my head atm) anyways, i stan. added to favs list forever.
