fuck this made me sob... as someone who has grown up hypervigilant, always watching others to feel "safe" and using their daydreams/imagination as their only safe place because the real world didn't have any, I really fucking relate to ideum. not only that but always taking the blame of others narratives and accepting it but also not realizing that the pain your feeling is really just self abandonment. i dont think ideum realizes how deep he feels when he accepts his moms narrative of his childhood even though there are so many clear signs that he is deeply in pain of being abandoned both emotionally and blamed for simply having a body that is ill. it seems implied that ideum's mother blames ideum for her issues with her husband/ex by saying in this latest ch (14) that ideum's demeanor was "happy" before he became ill. these r just idea's i had while reading lol... i just want ideum to be happy and safe and loved srsly he deserves it:,( <3

gahh my new favs! not only did I love that one scene where they describe on the phone the details of how they notice what the other person does during sex like pearlboy does, but they also do lots and lots of communication and playful mirroring of affectionate language and I’m just obsessed with the fact there’s no weird petty drama. I also love how the storytelling always ties tiny details into meaningful things that mc’s cares about like for instance when chaejun made seung-hyeon a bed because when chaejun was a kid he already promised seung-hyeon a room in his future apartment. hello absolute cuties!!! I also love how the attachment style really does fit chaejun as a kid of being bashful then wanting love and care… it honestly fits pretty well with seung-hyeon’s inferiority complex of being scared of not being capable because then they show each other they were worth it all along. And UAFHIHGRS WHEN seung-hyeon SAID “THANKS FOR WAITING ALL ALONG” GOT TO ME. HEALING THAT CHAEJUN INNER CHILD. LIKE ITS SOOO REFRESHING to see characters communicate gratitude over guilt apologies. AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THEIR BANTER. THE BANTER IS CHEFS KISS FUNNY.
