After reading the novel, I observed something about the main characters
Kang Jun has inferiority complex. Even though he thinks strategically, he needlessly obsess over other people's opinions and excessively worries about how he's preceived thinking that he's weak and feeble minded and is obsessive over reputation.
When he met with that american returnee student and talked about how other people perceive Go Yohan as weird and how he seems to pay attention towards Jun, he immediately worries about how others would talk and denounce him. Many people say that Jun is book smart, not street smart, I agree that. When Go Rosah points out that hoe Jun's observation of Yohan being able to take care of himself (basic things like serving food, loading laundry) is ridiculous and says that it simply makes Jun appear as spoiled and lacking basic living skills, I agree. Its not that hard to serve food to eat even if you are rich.
However the most important thing is he seems to seek out someone who can fill the void of his inferiorness. Someone who can command presence, someone who oozes presence and charisma, Someone who's sharp and witty and can outmanuver their way. Thats why he initially fell for Han Junwoo, but when he realizes that Han Junwoo is not sharp and doesnt have much beyond his size, He sides with Go Yohan, not just because he thinks he's a safe bet for his school peace, but rather he sees the ideal version of someone he wants to be (or so I believe). So much so that he's willing to excuse any fault that Go Yohan posesses. This somehow develops into feelings of care and possessiveness, calling him my go yohan, as if go yohan is his thing, his facade of strength.
I do think that Jun is genuinely is shocked and betrayed when Yohan attacked him and is angry (he delibrately cut off contact with Yohan, threw coffee at Yohan after college exams and cursed at him, even not telling where he enrolled) but still he somewhat came to terms with his feelings for Yohan (he mainly ran away in hurry from home to his parents in US just to get off his thoughts of Yohan, but he still thought of him)
But as for Yohan, the more I read he came off more enigmatic. He claims that people in his home hate him, he ignores his family going so far as to dine alone and shuts off in his room and the reason he claims is because he came out as gay in devout catholic home, but his sister says that Yohan is actually spoiled rotten and that their parents actually cherish him and its Yohan who delibrately came out as gay in christmas family celebration (with his extended family) simply because he loves attention (is it like middle child syndrome??) and says that he has ADHD and in one of family portraits where Jun says he wasnt present, was actually Yohan present just behind the camera taking pics with mirror present projecting him holding victory symbol like a cheeky brat
The american returnee guy also said that Yohan does not like someone who seems to surpass him but also hates someone who's beneath him. He likes someone who can augment him like a perfect little chess piece. Yohan hates being played and prefers to be in control. Its still confusing as to why Yohan acted shy in front of family when Jun brought him purposefully when he mistakenly realized his family is mistreating him but acted out so violently like he betrayed. However one thing is clear, Yohan likes Jun, more specifically his attention. Like a child throwing tantrum. Yohan is willing to go any lengths to capture Jun's attention but more than that he's sharp and have good instincts.
The claim of his father hating him is debunked by Yohan's father himself as he claims he loves Yohan but not so much as his "ring finger" (he analogues loving his children as finger and theres only one finger that can wear ring and so theres only one child he holds special)
When Jun avoided him, Yohan threw tantrum and begged and prayed to god to see Jun. He practically threw himself at floor towards Jun, kissing his feet and renouncing god for Jun as his savior, literally throwing himself to prevent acid from burning Jun when Kim Minho tried to attack Jun (Minho planned to take down Yohan with Jun by staging fake proposal to make him out as gay, but sensing that'll ruin Jun himself, he agreed to play along up untill last moment revealed to Yohan about it and Yohan pummeled Minho, causing him to drop out) but still harboring hate towards Jun for lying, abandoning and staging that stunt with family, but his obsessiveness is far greater than his anger. He wants to completely own Jun.
He's like a gleeful child playing with his cherished toy. He hates whenever anyone tries to approach Jun. Yohan has lot of friends but he rarely seems to hang out or even talk or even pay much attention or interest, prefering to playfully torment Jun and hanging out with him instead. So much so when Jun got jealous about Yohan having friends, Yohan said he'll cut ties with anyone in heartbeat, but the thing is its not him willing to cut ties, but rather not wanting Jun to get close, he's projecting that desire which Jun correctly identifies. Yohan actually got into college via early admission but delibrately lowered his requirement to get into humanities degree just to get a chance to meet with Jun. There's this thing, Yohan is just as academically smart like Jun but also street smart. When the Jun's project partner sent this message "Go Yohan r=1−sinθ Kang Jun" as a teasing, Yohan figured out it makes heart on graph (which Jun failed to do) and 128ve980, Jun tried to solve this as a equation, Yohan immediately figured its a viral math puzzle
In college, When Jun's assigment teammate used Jun as his muse for a assigment topic for "Gender and sex" presentation for humanities, Yohan went and confronted him. Yohan is like a ticking timebomb, you dont know what he'll do and you seem to walk around him on eggshells and yet he's charismatic enough that it feels trivial. He's not violent or aggressive, but he carries an aura of danger that tempts anyone to dare play with him (like a devil) and yet throws you off if you make a mistake
Yohan on paper is your typical high spec guy, well built, well endowed, handsome face and rich. More than enough for anyone to put up with some eccentricites. But being with him would pull you deeper into thoughts that it feels like sinking. All in all, it feels difficult to figure out Yohab easily. And as for adult stuff? Yohan is down bad and Jun goes along with flow (though puts on a show of protest) and overall the vibe feels twisted and bit toxic but very interesting. I assumed Jun would hold the leash and walk Yohan like a pet dog, but it feels like its Yohan pulling puppet strings with Jun (but Jun seems alright with letting Yohan to do so and I'm sure he'll cut the string if push comes to shove, but he seems content)
This is not your typical toxic bl. Infact Jiwook is not Juyeon's victim rather its Jiwook getting his due from Juyeon. While the manhwa and story puts on Jiwook getting abused front and center, the actual story is Juyeon who's battling his inner demons coping the abuse he received from Jiwook and yet still harboring feelings for him despite being abused by Jiwook
To put it short, Juyeon used to follow Jiwook during their school days and Juyeon basically acted as his junior running errands and Jiwook looked out for him. Juyeon developed feelings for Jiwook and confessed, but Jiwook along with his friends decided to abuse Juyeon for being 'faggot' and SA him and recorded the abuse and sent it to Juyeon's mother who after watching it collapsed. While the victim suffered the pain, the perepetrator, Jiwook walked on as of nothing happened. So Juyeon decided to get revenge by doing exactly what Jiwook done to him and make him remember the crime he committed
Jiwook is a extremely proud and self centered guy who knocks down on others just to prop himself up which actually plays into his downfall. His so called friends are lookong for a moment to ditch him and see how he falls and the guys who assaulted Jiwook? It's Jiwook who first insulted him and attacked him. I'm not celebrating or condoning actions committed towards Jiwook but rather stating that its a poetic justice, a karmic lash thats being delivered to him for his actions
The inner conflict, fear, anxiety, pain, doubt its felt like i'm the one experiencing it rather than someone observing it. Unfortunately prejudice and hierarchy very much exists in schools. The negative cliches we write it off exists in schools and the social environment in schools is very much toxic and abusive.
Many people write it off as boring and complaining that MC is like 'this and that' is missing the point. He's trying to survive socially in an environment where its basically "dog eat dog" world and him being weak and is from a rich family puts him a big target. We can go on an on about such toxicity and violence and how it exists beyond school but I'm gonna give Jun props for trying to play cards right so that he can emerge unscathed
And for Yohan, its similar in his case too. He's trying to put up appearence so that no one can mess with him as he lost affection and place in his home. He's starved off affection and using his loner status as a currency to put up walls crafting himself as "enigma". I can understand him feeling betrayed and gutted when Jun pulled that stunt (it was meant to be well meaning, but it actually cost Jun Yohan's trust and maybe Yohan father's ire) but the chapter 43 left a bit of bad feeling as he assaulted Jun
And as for from ch 44, everything occuring to him and him drawing parallels to Taeson and Yohan needlessly trying to raise the hell with Jun did send some shivers done the spine as if I'm experiencing it. Miscommunication took hold but I think Yohan should have reached out properly instead of him doing whatever he did upto ch 53 but there's one thing that's bugging me
How did Jun broke his arm? How did he step into glass? I mean Yohan did tell that he would "raise hell" or something similar. If its truly coincidence and Yohan using it to play mind games then its shitty but there's something salvegeable but if its truly Yohan's doing of getting Jun physically hurt then thats a completely different matter entirely. But Yohan did purposefully mess with Jun by needlessly shouting at him openly to gain attention, holding his weakness over him. But Jun also has a hold over Yohan, his weakness at home. If Yohan cross the line too much, Jun can easily pull that card exposing him as gay and reveal that his family is ashamed of him, but it can easily become double edged sword and Yohan's a suprisingly sharp opponent so Jun has to play that card very smartly and carefully
But seeing the special chapters, I guess both did like each other enough where they worked the problems and ended up together, and I think Jun may have gotten his parents blessings (or maybe not, but it'll be interesting to see how that plays out)
If Yohan is sincere about Jun then I would like him to apologize to Jun (it rarely happens in real life, so its fine to expect this much in fiction)
If only I can read the novel, god I miss booktoki, I was unable to find any real equivalent to it...If yall found it, please share the link...
Is the plot with us? Or did it get lost? I have a lot of questions.
whats the Leon's origin? Is Leon transmigrated from Earth or is it another fantasy world? The story kinda hints that Leon have some sort of connection to royalty in his original world
Who's this Cliff guy beyond Leon's guardian and 'lover'? (Cliff hooking up with a kid he practically raised really gives off predatory and grooming)
The part where Cliff got attacked by someone, is that guy Negral?
If that world is perfectly suited for that monsters, then why are the Negral and his cohorts are obsessed with making that world 'livable'? Like wasnt that world already livable?
Are they tourturing Leon out of revenge or for the need? I know for sure that Deus guy is delibrately torturing Leon as a revenge for attacking him and that creepy doctor/scientist guy also does it because Leon's attack caused a parasite to take over half his body
Whats with Negral's obsession with Leon? Why does he dont want Leon to go away? But then is willing to let others have their way with Leon?
Why do they need to repopulate? Dont the population there can reproduce? Why do they need specialized 'vessel' for repopulation?
Why is repopulation heavily dependant on Leon? Just why??
So this plan for repopulation where they are going to breed monsters with Leon, lets assume that for a moment, after this then what? How are they going to create future generations beyond? Do they find someone like Leon? Do they summon creature?
Did they steal the Leon's power once they figured out he's a perfect host? How long were they planning?
So Negral, Deus and others human appearence are all just false? That means like beryl they have true appearence?
Negral is very much focused on controlling Leon and he knows Leon is immune to mind control but is weak to physical touch. Why does he wanr to control Leon? (I suspect after ch 81, Negral threw Leon in purgatory to break his spirit and willpower and make him succumb to physical touch by the monsters so that Leon can be easily to manipulate)
What's the origin of Leon's power? Is it Cliff's? Is the power passed on to Leon as innate or is the source the earrings? If the power source is indeed earrings then why when Leon gets back his earrings unable to fully unleash his power? Did they seal the power itself or did they block the Leon's ability to access the power?
Whats the endgame for Leon before he gets tortured? And whats the endgame for Negral and co? Whats driving them? Whats their goal?
The story has a lot of plot to explain but the majority of content is all about Leon getting tortured to the point its starting to cause discomfort like for what reason is he being put through such pain?
Its not purely billed as fetish porn atleast in that way it can simply be written off as something people use it for their voyeuristic pleasure. It hints at background and story and expects readers to push through a lot of graphic content without any meaningful story to grasp
Hear me out, these are some of the (general) characteristics of Supermodels (that I have gotten to know about, just hear me out lol, not necessarily accurate)

Babygirl is practically Supermodel except instead of running down runway, he's running down hunting monsters!!
After all that, while Gray eventually gets his karma, Oscar and Abel just goes on like before and Hardy eventually gets back together with Abel
All it takes is Abel to pathetically cry like a effing man child "im sowwy, i made mistake, please stay, dont leave uwu" and Hardy's like fine....and drops his pants and rides Abel like a cowboy....
I've been seeing this story consistently come up in this site as recommended. Taking a cursory glance gives off similar vibes like Roses and Champagne (completed, wont be rereading it), Codename Anastasia (Dropped it after Volume 1), Mayday (completed, not really a big fan). Black haired uke getting dominated by buff white top who's slightly (or completely) psycho and seeing 5 volumes with 130+ chapters, what's exactly is going on besides a guy called Ilay going poundtown with Taeui for it to have this much chapters??? Some people are loving it and I'm curious
Carlos was born to a woman who worked at a glitzy hostess bar working as a cleaner. She was pumped and dumped by patriarch of Romanov who already was married and had children. So that lady decides to quit working at that bar and worked other jobs and gave birth to Carlos who unfortunately had a mental problem affecting his emotions. Debt and medical expenses pushed Carlos's mom into early grave. Soon Carlos was roaming around the streets and end up at casino and lucky for Carlos, he's a natural genius and was soon noticed by Romanov patriarch and took him under his wing and taught him and made him part of his organization cleaning up the mess and all. He was never meant to be kept for long and soon the patriach set Carlos in a trap meant to eliminate him but he managed to beat up the people sent to kill him and was revealed that it's the patriarch who wanted hi dead and when Carlos confronted him, Patriarch revealed that he's a stain that's meant to be cleaned up after he raped his mom (exact words spoken in black black heart, scenario felt more like pump and dump to me rather than feeling like SA, but then again, par for the course, desnt matter that lady faced something horrible) and Carlos is enraged and offed the entire family and took over the role as the head of Romanov.
Later on he met Misha (who's the birth mom of Alexi, btw Misha is a man and omega, curse the omegaverse) who obviously WAS NOT into Carlos and he's already into Feliks but Carlos met with Misha's parents and they forced Misha to break off with Feliks and marry Carlos and he's NOT happy about it and so is Feliks who thought Carlos stole Misha from him and vowed revenge. Anyway marriage comes and for a while things are going pretty great (except for Misha who'll act up, but credit where due, Carlos did his part as loving husband and treated him with care) and soon Alexi was born and Carlos was bonding rather well with his son and this causes Misha to get upset (Post-partum stress and depression, dont make fun of preggy stuff) thinking that Carlos abandoned him and only used him for baby and rift started to form and by this time, Feliks reentered into Misha's life and they bonded as friends and Feliks started feeding him poison words about Carlos in hope that Misha would break off with him and come to Feliks.
By this time, Feliks already married and had a child, who was Lean, but got mixed up with Terano family and that family's baby (named Illary) ended up with Feliks. Lean now grew up in the Terano household and yeah Feliks's spouse passed away early on. Anyway soon Misha is now starting to rekindle his feelings for Feliks and Carlos got wind of it but looked the other way as the believed Misha wont do any harm and is content so long as Misha was beside him. That trust broke when Misha and Feliks planned to run away and Misha took Alexei with him to cafe and abandoned him in the store while he ran away with Feliks. Alexei almost got run over trying to chase after Misha (who was 5 at the time). Seeing that Misha not only abandoned Alexei but even willing to let him in the path of danger just for his past love broke Carlos's heart and became twisted and hard-hearted and he despised the bonding and all and raised Alexei as cold-hearted bastard.
During the purge, Carlos also killed Former Romanov's lawyer and his wife, that couple had a son, Maxim. now orphaned, Maxin vowed revenge against Carlos. During this time, Carlos and his son's relationship started to deteriorate and Alexei moved away when he was 15. Carlos hired Maxim as Alexei's aide. He knows that Maxim had a grudge but still decided to let him be as he felt sorry for orphaning him as his parents were involved in shady things (It was not specified in both Black Black heart nor here). However, Maxim started to interfere with Alexei's love life and sabotaging wherever possible but Carlos left as is as he believed Alexei would catch on and fire him and he didnt pose much risk, but still decided to threaten him to leave Alexei. Maxim not only served as Alexei's aide but also is dating him. So due to Carlos's pressure, Maxim broke up and left Alexei however soon after, Alexei got shot and went into coma. One of the perpetrators was suprise, suprise, Maxim! So Carlos offed him
however that attack was actually ordered by Feliks who launched this attacks towards Alexei as a "warning shot" (dumb idea, Carlos doesnt particularly care about Feliks and Misha but Feliks in is stupid paranoia decided to do attack Alexei as a warning) Carlos now baying for blood took the path of revenge and decided to destroy Feliks the same way he did to them by looking into Feliks and found the truth about him
Misha felt pretty bad about abandoning Alexei and is now aware that he burned the bridge of any reconciliation and asked Feliks not to target them for his sake and Feliks agree but that doesnt mean he tried to meddle. He colluded with Maxim as Alexei trying to infiltrate and series of events unfolded which got Alexei into life-threatening situation. When Misha got to learn what Feliks did, he slapped him and fight broke between them. However this is soon overshadowed by the fact that the son Feliks thought he sired turned out to be someone else (ie) The children were mixed at birth. This info was sent in secret to Feliks (Possibly by Romanov as a revenge for attacking Alexei).
The truth is Feliks and his deceased spouse had a hard time having child and after much difficulty they bore the child. During the same time, Terrano family also had a child at the same hospital. However Feliks's son was given a diagnosis that the child is weak. Feliks's aide, Visco switched Feliks's child with Terano family's child (Both child look similar) as a way to protect Feliks. Feliks's child, named Lean grew up in Terano household while Terno family's child named Ilary, grew up in Feliks household. Getting to know about the truth, Feliks killed Visco who tried to flee the country. Ilary got to know about it and is now hurt since Feliks now started to avoid Ilary and is now caring about Lean (Blood ties ig.., It seems that Feliks still loved his deceased spouse and cherished her and Lean apparently resembled her too much). Carlos got to know about it and took advantage of it to destroy Feliks the same way and he got to know that Feliks child is now living with Terano family
Meanwhile, Lean's family apparently got into debt is now facing bankruptcy due to Terano's new chariman, Callant due to mismanagement and the only lifeline is Romanov. Carlos took advantage of it and promised him to provide lifeline in exchange for dna sample for Lean and got to know that Lean is actually omega (Lean actually didnt know that he was going to be omega, but eventually got to learn about it)
Carlos planned that holding Lean as hostage would ensure that Feliks wont act up as he knows Feliks already knows about baby switch and is looking for Lean and decided to use Lean as part of his revenge to get back at Feliks and also to get a heir (his grandchild)
So Carlos took advantage of it and pressured Terano to pay back the debt or face eviction. Terano's patriarch decided to pay a visit. Carlos proposed that he'll clear the debt and provide lifeline in exchange for one of his grandson as his son-in-law, Patriarch dismissed as theres no omega. But Carlos revealed that Lean is actually Omega (Basically asking them to hand over Lean) (another thing, Lean did checkup and learned that he is indeed Omega, but didnt tell the family and next day they went to Carlos who broke the news). patriarch immediately declined the offer and went home. But Carlos is after Lean and he sent a message to Lean about paternity test and told him to meet at Hospital where Alexei was admitted and revealed the test (but didnt tell him who his father is) and threatened that he will go after Terano unless he agreed to marry Alexei. Carlos proposed a deal with Lean to marry Alexei who was sick and sire him a baby and he'll clear the debt and wont reveal the secret to Terano. and so facing no choice as he wanted to help his family, he agreed and he married Alexei on paper
Lean eventually told about the deal and the teranos were pissed as they thought Lean is needlessly doing something that he shouldn't do. But Lean blathered about responsibility and wanting to help family left and moved in with Alexei
Carlos basically assigned Lean as Alexei's live in caretaker of sort who was recovering from that attack orchestrated by Feliks. Due to influence of pheromones and such, Lean fell for Alexei and did the deed with unconscious Alexei but immediately ran away as he felt bad about doing something such thing. All of this was recorded secretly which would come to haunt Lean (btw, during this encounter, Lean got marked as fated pair, which pissed Carlos who come to learn about it). Anyway Alexei woke up and learned that his father hitched him to Lean and is pissed (cuz he recently broke up with Maxim and string of his partners were either forced away by his father or killed themselves, like Lilac) and is not willing to cooperate.
He treated Lean like he's a leech but Lean fell in love with Alexei (he loved his angelic face, but beneath that lies a demon which destriyed Lean) and is deluded by the fact that Alexei would eventually come around. During this time, Lean met Sasha, Lean's bodyguard and assumed him as a good person due to his friendly demeanor. But soon things took turn for worse when Alexei warned that Lean wont survive and plans to make him suffer and chocked Lean. Lean thought Sasha would help but Sasha stood there watching Lean getting chocked. Alexei told no one not even Sasha would help and he will suffer a lot. Lean immediately contacted Carlos demanding an explanation as he though all he had to do is to produce an heir and assumed Carlos would protect him. Carlos told that actually no, so long as Lean can bear child, anything is on the table (ie, Told Sasha to turn a blind eye as Lean getting tortured and beat up) Lean begged Carlos do help him as he's already being treated badly and wanted to survive. But Carlos pulled contract card and shut Lean up.
Meanwhile the recorded incident was discovered by Alexei who installed CCTV cameras in his house to record and monitor whats going on (Sasha aint no saint, sure he treated Lean good, but he looked the other way when Alexei and Carlos abused Lean, an enabler and is basically acted as an agent for Carlos who abused Alexei as he wanted to raise someone who cant be manipulated and took advantage of) and this caused Alexei to get mad at Lean and he felt betrayed and things took a dark turn as Lean got beat up everyday by Alexei. During one particular episode. Alexei dragged Lean into room and raped him so badly that red haired guy shocked (bitch, you know Alexei would do this to Lean but instead of helping Lean or calming down Alexei, you just stood guard while Lean cried sounds of help) and another instance Alexei threw a house party and Lean came down and asked what's he doing and Alecei basically asked his friends to strip him and assault him and they did that. Lean pleaded to Alexei that he only wanted Alexei and he knotted and Lean got pregnant
Lean's pregnancy was hid from Alexei under the orders of Carlos. Alexei resented his dad's excessive control and wanted to break away from his control. Lean despite facing abuse, fell in love with Alexei calling him "my alpha" (I SWEAR ABUSIVE OMEGAVERSE RELATION TROPES WOULD BE THE CAUSE FOR MY EARLY GRAVE!!!!!) and yeah Alexei was still abusive to Lean but somehow they managed to hide preganancy. During this time, Alexei arranged to meet with a guy who went against Carlos to gain some info and what he learned shocked him. Alexei learned that Lean married him only because Carlos threatened him and he suffered a lot, plus he doesnt even know who's his father is, but Carlos figured out he's Feliks's son and used him as pawn for revenge, but soon that guy was sniped down by Carlos men and Alexei went into psychotic shock and pleaded with Carlos to let him go and all.
Soon Lean gave birth to baby boy and Carlos kicked Lean out, but Lean pleaded with Carlos for one last time with Alexei. They met and hooked up and Lean bonded him and Alexei allowed it but then Lean left morning and Alexei learned of it and started crying
Meanwhile, before Lean got kicked out from Romanov's, Fight ensued in Lean's family as they learned off the deal as told by Callant. Soon Lean came back to his home and tearful reunion ensued and he immediately left for Edinburgh. Alexei revealed to Carlos that Lean bonded with him one sided. Carlos grew furious and is planning to bring down Lean to fix this but Alexei pleaded with his dad not to as he did too much harm for Lean and this is his repentance and threatened with his own existence if Carlos went against Alexei's wishes. Suprisingly Alexei is a good and attentive dad and really regrets treating Lean poorly and blamed himself for making his child motherless, forcing him to face the same life as he did when Misha abandoned him. but this time, it was him who abandoned Lean and feeling bad for treating Lean so poorly that he ran away. however, one sided bonding seems to cause some sort of health complication but Alexei braved it as something Lean gave him as a punishment of sort but fearing that Carlos would make a move and decided to track Lean
Seven years later, Lean finally settled in Edinburgh and started to lead a normal life and fell in love with a Doctor and opened about his relationship and starting to heal but someone is sending gifts and letters as his "friend" of sort. Lean didnt know who it was (Hint: Its Alexei) but felt happy but wanted to end it as he felt burdened. Anyway, Lean happened to meet Alexei with their child and he immediately grew cold and soon Alexei contacted Lean who didnt know it was him who sent him gifts and asked him to meet. Alexei took the gifts and went to meet with him along with that Doctor and is shocked and petrified to know the mystery person was Alexei all along.
Lean was disgusted and scared of him and wanted to stay away from him. Alexei begged Lean to stay for a while and gave his apologies. Lean for the part begrudgingly accepted so that he could move on and soon Alexei brought their child to meet Lean. Lean met with their child, Czar and bonded and told that he wanted to take custody of Czar. Alexei agreed but Czar cried as he grew up with Alexei. Soon Alexei collapsed and was brought to hospital and that red haired guy filled in the details and Lean started to waver and Carlos went to Lean and told him to stay away and told him if not for Alexei's wishes, he would have captured Lean for his treatment long ago. Soon Alexei recovered and beleived that Lean would give him a chance and they might start afresh and went to seek Lean only to see him and that doctor sharing lovely moment hit that Lean never would smile with him and left. He got caught in rain and got severely sick along with his condition, his health worsened. The only way to cure is that the bonder has to share their pheremone.
Meanwhile the relationship between Lean and that doctor started to change. Lean started to waver and chose to help Alexei. That Doctor though heartbroken, accepted gracefully and even came forward to do the procedure. The procedure went well and soon Alexei cried and begged Lean to stay and apologized for all his wrongdoings and Carlos eventually came around and accepted Lean as his son-in-law and he too apologized for his actions and soon Lean and Alexei reconciled. Despite suffering at the hands of Carlos and Alexei, he treated both of them with kindness and all. This is the main story. Feliks did sought out Lean but Lean rejected him as he told "why now of all time, if you truly cared for me or even though about me, you would have looked for me earlier" and Misha and Carlos had some heart to heart convo regarding Alexei and the things where gone wrong. This has somewhat influenced Carlos to soften and accept Lean and realize what he did is wrong.
Phew, that's it for the main story combining Black black heart and Mated to Ruthless alpha. Start with former to get clearer picture. Lean is truly sorrowful character who got into crossfire between people who wants revenge. Personally I think he should have never got back together with Alexei. In fact he should have immediately left after giving forgiveness that Alexei is fishing for and told him that he does not want to involve with their affairs anymore.
Reading this series kinda gave me a vibe of AO3 and micro drama series crossover. Overall story has some promise but the story is riddled with excessive drama and is basically acted like vehicle for angst (I love angst story but the angst here feels plonked on due to rushed nature of plot development)

I loved how unserious and nonchalant Sunwon is and his thinking of dominating guys and his smooth talking skills and the overall ridiculousness of the world he's isekied into, but it turns out Sunwon is not just a nonchalant, go-lucky horndog. He's actually a victim of sexual exploitation and abuse and he's behaving like that to mask his pain and suffering
While people are commenting on Vercion and how abusive he is, Alvis on his part did act like that, though he reflect on his behavior and apologized and tried to rectify his mistakes, make no mistakes he abused Sunwon by stripping his clothes and forcefully tried to lay with him. Many are commenting that Sunwon tried to somewhat take control of situation when Vercion was assaulting him by convincing himself that he's in control and Vercion is laying his hands on him cuz he (Sunwon) in control, The same somewhat played out when Alvis laid his hands on Sunwon. True Sunwon did desire Alvis but that doesnt mean he didnt get abused it's just like how Sunwon desired Vercion but ended up getting assaulted by him. To protect himself from further herm, he had to honeytalk Alvis and coaxed him into sleeping with him. Is he a good king? I believe so, he deeply cares about his subjects and his nation and despises the church which is manipulating and holding the nation in hostage and is looking for ways to break the chruch's stronghold and he's right in regards suspecting Sunwon as part of church's scheme. I mean a guy suddenly pops up as visage of god right when the chruch is trying to destabilize the government, that makes anyone pretty sus. I believe he is a righetous ruler, but is he a good man for sunwon? maybe cuz he did play a role of villan but he is making amends
I was rooting for Sunwon to be power-bottom dominating and standing above the people who's trying to dominate him and subjugate him (whether by peace or by force) but as the story goes on, It feels like Sunwon never actually had power, just a illusion of it. True people respect him (as a god) and worship him but ultimately he derives his authority from very men who claim to be his vassals. In terms of religious affairs, It's the Vercion and his sycophants who truly holds authority and in terms of governance, It's Alvis and his loyals who runs the show. I thought Sunwon would establish some sort of divinity over governance by declaring Alvis as his vassal whom shall carry out the deeds and correct course of the church as his seat of authority to whom both clergy and nobility answers as visage of divinity but it painfully mirrors the reality religious and political leader who use their authority to demonish and impose ridiculous rules by literally using the name of god in vain (BTW, devout people, to not speak name of lord in vain means not use the god as excuse to clear the name of the atrocity they commit, not someone who says "god darn it" when they stub their toes)
I feel the only time Sunwon took a decision of his own freely is when he took that Junior priest into his arms. Apart from that it feels like either he's forcing himself to lay with another or others are forcefully laying with him. It's horrible and even more damning when he's regarded as visage.
I honestly think Sunwon failed to properly establish himself as visage. He just assumed that this world is going to be free for all and is going to serve to his needs. Sure as visage of god, however blashpehmous to us in reality, in this fictional story he could do what he want, but I feel like he wasted his authority by being too carefree. He should have used the authority to reprimand Alvis when he laid his hand and stripped his clothes and he should have put some leash and reigned in the people of the church and made them properly treat him as visage and when he sensed something wrong with Vercion, he should have weeded out the issue early on. I think the incident where Vercion dragged Sunwon from the festival market could be somewhat avoided had Sunwon actually used his presumed authority to chide Vercion and told him that he cherishes subjects of his holy kingdom no matter their opinion and reminded him of his role as chief priest's job to guide Alvis as spiritual leader to help him be a just ruler. It may not have worked, but up that point Vercion is devout to Sunwon and would have listened to him and maybe it would have led to Sunwon laying with Vercion as he desired (that guy still had some mind to bed Vercion up that point)
But it no longer matter, by second encounter, Vercion no longer sees him as visage but rather his man and to make that point clear, he actually said "So you decided to share your blessings like a common whore" (suprising that Vercion actually knows the word and the meaning as he correctly used as the world purpotedly shows the nation is extremely prudent and pious, I guess such behavior exists in nobility and ladies of the night also exist in this world or lords of the night ig). Vercion is a embodiment of what we consider despicable person and leader. Sure he was radicalized by the mortal world when people cheated him and found solace and stability in religion and in priestly work but it corrupted his mind, as soon as he tasted stability, power and authority he's starting to think like tyrant (his belief is pretty much fascist).
My argument of Sunwon losing his authority as visage of god holds when we contrast with another nation's visage. Like Sunwon, that guy also indulges in carnal desire (doesnt matter whether he's bot or top) but people there truly seems to worship him, revere him and respect him as divine being. But in the case of Sunwon, they praise him sure but people treat him as possesion and obession veiled as divine reverance. This is what I said, had Sunwon used his authority to reign in the people, beyond praises, they would have truly respected him as divine being
I already guessed Jerkyung would help Kim Dan with his grandma's funeral like a shining knight in armor. Not guessed that knight would kneel down with snotty face in front of KD lol. I still think they should have talked through their misunderstandings and then get into relationship (honestly, im actually against them getting into relationship, oh well BL lords giveth us couple anyways)
I love the story plot, though some details break the immersion. The setting feels like it takes place in late 1950s and early 1960s China, however the scene where prisoner have chance to retrieve one personal thing to keep has a smartphone but the overall vibes of China seems to be inline with 1990s economic development but the story does acknowledge the existence of north and south korea which means the story takes place after the korean war, possibly around 1990s but by then the biplanes are pretty much are relegated to museums, since China flies the current PRC flag, it means it should have been close with erstwhile USSR and current Russia and it should atleast had access to and flown era appropriate jets like MiG 21, MiG 29, MiG 15, Su 27 of sort in this fictional war, plus theres the question of whether USA letting China to rise as communist superpower and China would not have destroyed NK and NK would have absorbed SK and created a another communist state called Joseon
It seems the setting is placed at 1990s but the aesthetics of China were given late 1930s (cant get over the fact that they delibarately chose Nanjing (which is pretty significant and sordid setting as this is where the infamous Nanking massacre happened) and the prison and head guard gives off Commander and his fortress vibes and those prisoners are his concubines vibes, pretty sure people would love this concept lol)
Anyway, the story itself goes beyond Yaoi/BL and has some depth to hook readers. I dont particularly care about the situationships they end up, I'm more interested whether the main character is able to exact his revenge and how would the chief warden would react or learn about it and whether he assists him or not. Because he is a tyrant to the prisoners in that prison, who are obviously violent, deranged people but for people outside, he remains as semblance of retribution for the victims who suffered by the hands of prisoners. But we all know that MC is not a bad guy but what he did is a bad thing. However people can emphatize for what he did. Perhaps he killed them because he knows that they would escape and him being a refugee wont get any justice
I wonder whether the backstory of MC would be revealed to chief warden. Would he see the MC as "violent murderer" who needs to be kept under his thumb or would he becomes his aide in retribution. I'm not really sure how to guage the morality of the chief warden, sure he is a tyrant but the people he manages are violent criminals, plus the prison itself (on the surface) doesnt feel too bad? Plus, guards and policemen all have their own "honor codes" where all policemen/guards defends one guy's action/mistake. Even if chief guard acknowledges the story, would he trust him? After all MC is a criminal, whats the possibility of him telling things are true? Even if he trust him, would he help MC to get revenge? Would he help MC to pursue action legally? Would he help MC clear his name and free him from prison?
And I'm also curious about Shen guy, he bears the number 001, what crime he did to land in this prison? Why he's aligining himself with that chief warden and letting him have his way? Was his story similar to MC? He seems to be willing to help him get revenge, but what if theres a chance that MC can clear his name and pursue the matter legally, would Shen help him or would he throw the wrench to keep him tied down in that lavish purgatory?
I initially thought its in same universe like other "kiss me" series, but its not and I read it and it is very frustrating to read (even more so than kiss me liar, honestly Pittman guy is a one irritating SOB) from pacing to characters and just overall storyplot makes it very awkward to read. One point they all like "damn I hate him" suddenly "I love you" without even properly processing emotions, it felt like rushing story immediately to get the result that we want. Its attempting to create needless angst and yearning to rushed reconciliation. Not worth reading
Hakyung is jealous and fearful of his brother and needlessly paranoid of him threatening his inheritence so much so that drom childhood decides to make him his puppet and emotionally manipulate him and goes so far to kill him and tarnish his name and reputation
Yigon, despite being well talented and have same access to resource like Hakyung decides to act all debauchery and stupidly and not even willing to stand up to his brother's manipulation and is stupidly enduring emotional and physical abuse from that prick called Tae kang just to "escape his brothers wrath"
And Tae kang, who needlessly treats Yigon with cruelty and abuses him just because he bascially handed the power in contract relation despite Tae kang needs Yigon just as much Yigon needs Tae kang
Even with the pretty artwork, the characters and the plotline for me feels....comical? or cliched? Im not sure, but it sure as hell makes me feel irked
Im gonna start with Yigon, I get that he grew in cold household as his parents are very busy and all and grew close to Hakyung as he's the one who shown some affection, but there comes a point he would have caught on to Hakyung's schemes and should have questioned his brother's intentions, but he decides to satisfy his brother by being spoiled brat, even if we write it off as being stuck in that house, as soon as moved out, he should have grown his wings, but nooo, my brother's gonna be mad cuz I do well things, bullcrap! Dude, you are not stupid!! You are talented and is privileged, you should have used that brain of yours to scheme your own plan or atleast stand up to your shitty brother and atleast used the grandpa's greed as his pawn to play off that prick but nooo!! He gonna be dissappointed! He'll kill me, first of all, the only reason Hakyung is able to pull off is that he grew his network while you stupidly appeased your brother who bascially written off as something needs to be eliminated
Hakyung meanwhile he's a prickly lil bitch who only knows how to talk and throw empty threat and is only relevant cuz he got power and money and is not really talented, that bitch is very much threatened by Yigon. Bastard is willing to kill off his own brother and tarnish his name just to sink his claws at entire company. He's your blood brother who adores you and respects you and what do you do? Gaslight him, manipulate him, make him pariah in your own family and make him feel inadequete and even try to kill him!! And all for what? For that darned chairman post? Yigon's not even interested in company at all. Instead of making Yigon his right arm man or even working with him to secure his position, he decides, lets kill Yigon!! Bitch is literally throwing away very talented man instead of using him for his own gain and first of all, why are you using him as stepping stone? He's your brother for fuck's sake, plus he really loves you and heres you plotting to kill him
And now Taekang, I understand his apprehension when Yigon approached him, as he's known in circles as denegerate junkie and him being heir to his own family business, not willing to associate with him and hooking up once due to urges (Hey, both are consenting adults, its fine) but what happenes afterward is what soured for me. That guy is a violent bastard and is not someone worthy of being in relationship with. That bastard claimed that transactional relationship is natural for him and he labelled Yigon is liability and included a clause in contract stating that Yigon must oblige whatever Taekang wishes plus he abuse him emotionally and physically and humiliate him. Bastard clearly took advantage of Yigon's helplessness and his weakness and unleashed his deranged desire and when his own weakness came, suddenly he's like, im sorry i fell for you, i like you. What a load of crap! That guy basically devolved into carnal desire and threw away Yigon when he thought he's done with him and now when his heart is broken, suddenly he wants Yigon's affection. Taekang basically assumed all power in the relationship when he learned Yigon is helpless and presented that he's doing a favor when in fact Taekang actually is using Yigon for his own goals and yet he abused him needlessly. Just because you guys are in contract relationship doesnt mean you need to be harsh, it clearly shows just how worthless piece of shit he is. And now he suddenly he wants to help Yigon? No wonder Yigon is suspicious of him, he's a piece of shit who ditches people when things go awry and now he wants to be a good guy for Yigon? Nope, he's always a bad guy.
Honestly, I was expecting something dramatic when I read the title, but so for nothing. Would Yigon finally grow spine and takes on his brother, utilizing Taekang and walking away and securing himself the company after enduring the abuse or does he act like effing damsel in distress when he has all the talent and resources and falls in love with his abuser? Only way to find out in S3
The characters are openly looking down on omegas and shamelessly talking about baby chaining to tie down. The blond guys are creepy and from the looks of it, this story has brother obsession trope going on. Plus the main blond guy is needlessly violent towards the main character and the worst part is that the artwork makes it seem so cool and sexy and all that
Its a pretty sweet story. funny, adorable and overall easy read. Gives off similar vibes to another manhwa - Love of cloud and rain. Homeboy saw vegetable garden and is all like, alright guess now I'm houseband and took a hard look at Bau and suddenly he's all like "I'd tap that booty"
I KNEW IT!! I KNEW THE AUTHOR WOULD WRITE JERKYUNG TO BEG KD TO STAY!!! But not really expected Jerkyung to go down on his knees and bawl lol. I was mostly expecting something like that jerkyung to appear as "Knight in armor" once again and ask him to stay, not like a hobo weeping at sidewalk. Guess the steam is running out.
But rejoice people! Jerkyung is bawling, that seemingly cocky face is now filled with tears and regret

Gray dressed up Hardy in wedding dress and basically tried to force himself on him and Hardy resisted
Hardy roared at Grey to stop whatever is he doing and Grey suddenly says "are you still under delusion that he'll save you? (Approximation, translation issues and panel chops sry...) you always delude yourself under the sweet words of love and affection and let yourself get used, isnt that how your marriages broke up?" Hardy was shocked and asked him how he knows (duh, cuz he IS the mastermind!) and Grey is all like "I know everything is there about you, do you really think him turning you is an act of love? No! Its him sticking label to thing he obsesses and posesses and after using up all well, he'll discard you in a cold and desolate place, like a discarded broken toy, but as for me, I'll love you in anyway whatsoever no matter how you are, even if you are broken and abandoned and forced to get ypur engagements broken (Again, approximation cuz the sources put huge watermark over certain text blocking the ability to translate text soo sry)"
Something clicked in Hardy's mind, "So, its all you, you did this" and Grey said yes, i did all of this, you know why? Cuz I love you, You are mine (yeah yeah, cliche) and Hardy went into momentary depression, thinking about how everything he faced is all of his stupidity, his naiveity, and how he blindly trusted Grey and suddenly Abel's voice heard and Hardy tried to yell for help but Grey put him under spell and left to deal with Abel and told him that he'll return and he said this
"Yeah, I didn't think it would end up just like that. This is like the final gateway, so there's such a thing among the empire's customs. Do you know about the criminal investigation system?" (Not really sure about this in which context he said, im just gonna write this and let yall be judge)
And Grey and Abel met and duel each other. Abel roared give my wife back and Grey's all, he's mine now nay always has been (Okay, this line kinda goes hard, even sexy, but not in this case...)
Meanwhile...
Hardy's all alone, cursing the rotten fate that has been dealt to him, an untrustworthy husband who violated him and a childhood friend who ruined his life just for his satisfaction, hysterions damn hysterions...let those cursed brothers battle each other to DEATH!! (OMG! What I kinda wished in my previous post is now Canon!! Okay not them actually killing, but Hardy did cursed them to kill each other, who knows maybe they will and another canon which I guessed is now coming!!) Hardy broke the the spell and invoked his OWN MAGIC and he hardened his heart and is now starting to think about Revenge and finally lead a life he wishes!!!
Finally!! Our Hardy is done with damsel in distress and decided to take revenge!!! \(^-^)/\(^-^)/
I thought this is going to be your typical angst hurt bl where our poor omega MC has to suffer at the violent alpha ML, but it turns out not the case. The overall story gives off "My happy marriage" vibes
From what I gather, people seems to understand MC's background and his thinking but are glossing over the fact that its the ML who's actually had it worse and he's still decent. His entire existence is not even out of love or duty or need but rather a golden trophy used by his parents to secure their succession and inheritence. He's literally bioengineered baby (CRISPR baby for real life comparision) specifically tuned to have hyper dominant gene with no regards to overall health and well being of the baby and so he's very frail. But the people who forced him into existence treat him like effing pariah. He never asked to become alpha and yet he's treated like a psycho from childhood, this is going to heavily impact the person when they are raised in such environment. His grandpa drilled him the belief that he is better and others are lesser than him and thats why we can see his thoughtline being "he's recessive but fine, im an alpha i can easily dominate you" not because he can, because he's taught like so. Which is ironic considering the gramps is a beta. Plus he's constantly being bullied and antagonized because he's alpha? Man has every ammo for him to justify becoming villian but he's still decent. He has every chance to use and abuse the MC to his satisfaction but he treats him very well and he takes care of him
And as for ML's brother, I sympathize with him. Imagine cleaning up after your brother all the time but being ignored by everyone in his family. Having worked twice as hard and yet still not being recognized and being passed over to your own brother simply by virtue of trait. But he necessarily cant hate his brother too because he knows his brother didnt become this way but rather forced to be this way. Its part jealousy, part anger and part brotherly love. Beneath this chaotic story lies a very complex dynamic between MC, ML and ML's brother. and as for MC's twin, pretty sure he's a spoiled lil bitch.
Toraji! You may have not born with golden spoon but you sure have heart of gold! Your lover and his daughter is very much lucky to have you in their lives!!! (*T^T)
I want more of this story...I'm invested in their lore and love ( 〃▽〃)
