hands down one of the MOST satisfying villain deaths of any manga i’ve ever read, to see him be killed by nick’s powerful pheromones after he underestimated nick as a weak alpha and how horribly he tormented owen for well over a decade and made owen believe he’s a monster and then drug, kidnap, with the eventual goal in mind to attempt to rape and forcibly bond owen, loche more than got what was coming for him and i love it
hehe oh trust me neither of them will regret this even in 10 years time, because they end up both falling fully in love with each other and having 2 kids and getting married

i don’t know if it’s just me, but i don’t like this art style, it’s clearly a different artist than any of the other existing adaptations of stories from the kiss me universe and i just don’t think it does justice to how beautiful Dane and the other characters are drawn when they appear in the other stories. Like yes i have been looking forward to a webcomic adaptation of this story but not like this, this art style is bad compared to the other artists who have drawn the other stories, i was willing to wait longer if it meant one of those artists would be the one to illustrate Dane and Grayson’s story
I'm not really into YP artstyle either. I think YP is really good at drawing bodies, but not a big fan of the way YP draws hair and face/facial expressions/eyes.
But as always it's a matter of personal taste, I know that many love their artstyle. And so far we only saw one chapter, there should be more with he official release date.
different artists drew kml and kmiyc, and a 3rd artist is now drawing dmiyc, that’s why the art styles are different between the 3 stories, it’s the author who wrote the web novels that each of these stories that is the same, ZIG wrote the web novels for kml, kmiyc, and dmiyc, that were then adapted to manhwa (the korean version of manga) and each of the manhwa adaptations has a different artist drawing them, the same artist has not done all 3 manhwa adaptations
In the next chapter it’s going to be revealed to everyone in the room, including Chase, that Josh is an omega, after the tape he always keeps on his right ear, which covers the bite mark that Chase left, falls off and everyone sees the bite mark! From there Josh and Chase’s relationship really picks up and Chase learns that the scar on Josh’s stomach is in fact a c-section scar from when he gave birth to Pete, Pete doesn’t have a mother that Josh is estranged from, but that Chase himself is Pete’s father
yes here you go,

sorry it really isn’t the best english translation of the full story that’s out there for free, all the better stuff is behind paywalls.
If you want to be able to easily find where to read novels for free in the future, I highly recommend signing up for a novelupdates.com account, that site gives you the links to where you can find almost every web novel out there for free. I found the OS of the site a bit confusing at first, but basically when you scroll all the way down to the bottom and it shows the chapters (you can only do this if you have an account and are logged in btw), you click on the chapter number in the right hand column, that’s the link that will take you to the actual website where you can read that chapter, clicking on scan group’s name won’t take you anywhere (that’s where I got confused and ended up going in circles for literal weeks before I finally figured it out)
I remember reading this for the first time back in 2016 when the unofficial translations came out online, and as a teenager with undiagnosed OCD who had never thought about or tried to get any help for it and felt so alone and like such a weirdo for being such a germaphobe (my OCD also includes other things but germaphobia has been the longest and most consistent part of it for me), in a weird way this manga helped me feel understood and hopeful that maybe one day I could get better. I was extremely depressed during that time in my life for so many reasons and getting treatment for my OCD, even after I was diagnosed, was made extremely difficult by the fact that my autism and ADHD hadn’t been diagnosed yet and I didn’t even realise I had them and not knowing the difference between intrusive OCD thoughts, the autistic need for everything to always be the same, and the constant noise caused by the inattentive side of my ADHD, made treatment VERY difficult. I didn’t even fully know what counted as an intrusive thought, what counted as a compulsion, or any of that. But what the ML says in the first chapter when he’s explaining exposure therapy for OCD is 100% correct and still the method that is often used today, you start with the thing that makes you the least uncomfortable (it still makes you uncomfortable but not as much as the other things), and you start doing it, you can go however fast or slow you need to with the process and take breaks whenever you need, and you keep repeating doing that thing until it gradually makes you less and less uncomfortable, until eventually it no longer makes you uncomfortable at all, then you move onto the next thing. The only thing he said that was wrong is that once you finish with the 10th thing you’re “cured”, it’s not permanent, you have to keep up with those methods and keep exposing yourself in order to maintain a state where your OCD doesn’t bother you, it’s the exact same as building muscle, once you build lots of muscle it doesn’t just stay there even if you stop exercising completely, no you have to continue exercising at the same rate you were to build that muscle in order to maintain it, otherwise all that progress withers away and you’re back at square one. It’s the same with exposure therapy, if you don’t keep up with exposing yourself regularly and keep working to make yourself less uncomfortable then you will lose all the progress you have made and go right back to square one, that’s what happened to me. Also, it doesn’t necessarily have to be only 10 things you need to conquer, if there are multiple facets to your OCD then you need to overcome and become comfortable with things of all levels for each different facet, for me paranoia that I’m being stalked is one facet of my OCD along with germaphobia and is something that would have its own separate list of things for me to overcome. You should also be seeing a therapist who you are comfortable with and LISTENS to you and lets you choose the pace and direction of your exposure therapy, and also a separate therapist to discuss your anxieties and worries about the exposure therapy with, or if you have other mental health concerns other than OCD you need to see a separate therapist for those concerns. Exposure therapy for OCD only works when the other parts of your life and your mind are calm and in order, because if you have stress coming from other places while you’re trying to go through exposure therapy your mind will be distracted and you won’t make the best progress you can with exposure
if nox and yuri are going to be endgame, can they at least PLEASE stop calling each other brother, it’s giving me the ick, like I can totally forget that they’re adopted brothers when they just call each other by their first names and are standing next to each other and force myself to be ignorant of that fact, but jesus fucking christ stop calling each other brother!!!
drivers in south korea really are that bad, my brother in law is born and raised south korean, when he did his mandatory military service while he was still living there, he spent most of his service being the personal driver for some big shot general because he was the best, safest driver out of all the people at his base who were eligible to become official personal drivers. I’ve been in the car when he’s driving, oh my god do I try to avoid having him as a driver and will always offer to drive instead if I’m able (aka if the car is an automatic, as I don’t know how to drive manual), but he was somehow the best driver and chosen to be a personal driver for an army general? When he moved here, to australia (where our road safety laws and punishments are a LOT more heavily enforced and strict than in south korea) and started driving, for the first 2-3 years he was here he got speeding tickets frequently, enough that he actually lost his license for 6 months, because speeding 10-20km above the speed limit in south korea is no big deal and the police don’t really hand out fines or punish people for it if they get caught, but here in australia it’s a BIG deal to go even 5-10km over the speed limit, especially if you speed in a school zone, the fines are hundreds of dollars and demerit points on your licence (a standard licence here has 12 demerit points, that you either lose or gain depending on the state, but if you rack up enough demerit points as a result of road safety law violations, you lose your license for a period of time that is set by a judge). I was sceptical if most south korean drivers are really that bad, as was my sister (who he is married to), until my sister and brother in law went over to south korean together for the first time to visit his family and my sister found out first hand that the majority of south korean drivers, especially in cities, really ARE that bad compared to here in australia, and it’s not just how carelessly they drive, casually speeding and swerving in between traffic without indicating, but the road rage in big cities really is as bad as it’s portrayed in media
first try pregnancies really do happen! The women on my mum’s side of the family, apart from one of my aunt’s (who has very severe pcos), all have a history of being very fertile. When our mum and bio dad decided to start trying for their first baby, my older sister was conceived almost immediately after our mum stopped taking the pill, literally didn’t even have a regular period after coming off the pill before my older sister was conceived, it was immediate. And then 4 years later it was the exact same thing with me, mum came off the pill and immediately got pregnant with me before she had a proper period. Happened to my other aunt as well and my maternal grandma, on the pill and then fell pregnant within a week or two of coming off the pill. My older sister also got pregnant immediately after her and her at the time brand new husband decided “we’ll just see what happens, it’s highly unlikely it’ll happen on the first go”, but BAM, she got pregnant, literally the same weekend they got married.
or they didn’t receive any sex education/were only taught to just not have sex, and so they simply don’t know how easy it can be to get pregnant, because no one taught about condoms or hormonal birth control or even that having heterosexual sex can lead to pregnancy (yes there literally are teenagers out there who are so sheltered by the adults around them that they don’t even realise that heterosexual sex leads to pregnancy). The area I went to school has a lot of private catholic schools, I went to the only private school in the area that wasn’t catholic but anglican, and while my school taught VERY extensive and comprehensive sex education (they literally covered every possible topic they could about straight sex), the catholic schools in the area teach nothing but abstinence and so they have long had teen pregnancy scandals, whereas the kids at my school (k-12, so we had high school students) received the nickname of “the *school name* virgins” because there were never any teen pregnancy scandals because we were actually taught about sex and how to have safe sex to prevent pregnancy and prevent against catching/spreading STDs
“pull yourself up by the bootstraps” was originally created to mean “to attempt something ludicrously far-fetched or even impossible”, because when you think about the mechanics of trying to pull yourself up by your own bootstraps, IT IS PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!! IT IS A PHRASE MEANT TO MOCK THOSE WHO TRY TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE, NOT TO TRY AND INSPIRE PEOPLE TO BE TOTALLY SELF RELIANT AND PLACE ALL THE BLAME OF THEM NOT BEING SUCCESSFUL ON THEMSELVES!! Especially in a world like the one in this story, as the male host points out, some people literally cannot access higher levels of knowledge and education simply because of where they were born, who their parents are, what their socioeconomic background, they are banned from doing so, so it is quite literally impossible for them to access those resources unless they do so illegally, and that is true for many people around the world today, even in developed nations. To completely dismiss things like socioeconomic background, family wealth and connections, disability, race, gender identity and sex, and also where you were born and raised (because someone born in a very remote rural area that doesn’t have the learning resources available to someone born in a highly populated city is going to have a vastly different experience and opportunities available to them), is completely ignorant and privileged and shows how little you actually know about how the world works. It’s not what you know but WHO you know, I know this because I have spent my whole life seeing that in action, my older sister, my older cousin, myself, and one of my younger cousins, all got our first proper jobs because our family knew the right people, people who were willing to hire an inexperienced 16 year old because they were close friends or colleagues of our parents. And I have seen that happen so many other times in different situations but it’s still the same, WHO you know gets you much farther than what you know, unfortunately
be forewarned, it is VERY gruesome to read, most chapters begin with a trigger warning for a very good reason, there’s a lot of torture and a LOT of rape, so if that’s not your style then don’t read, but instead just research and read up on the time when south korea was under a dictatorship, as that is where this series gets its dictatorship background from
Exactly this! You’ve worded it perfectly, thank you. it was quite hard for me to read the prince’s response. And funny too that someone who’s never had to “pull themselves up by their bootstraps” thinks thats all it takes to succeed. What a joke. Also! I didn’t know that the stoey was based when SK was in a dictatorship it makes a lot of sense.

in the novel, like 2-3 months after this event happens, maybe a bit longer i can’t remember, but once grayson and dane have gotten closer and grayson has been over to dane’s house once or twice and met darling, grayson is working at the station and dane has a day off when the team gets called out for a fire and when they get there grayson realises that dane’s house is one of the houses that’s burning, none of the other guys on the crew have ever been to dane’s place or even know his address so they don’t know it’s dane’s house, only grayson does. And then he remembers that dane isn’t at home and darling is still inside all alone, and that darling is old, blind, and deaf, and how much dane loves darling more than anything else on the planet, and without thinking twice about it he immediately runs into dane’s house alone to rescue darling. He remembers this incident and thinks about where darling would hide when really scared and eventually he finds darling, does the same thing dane did in this chapter and puts his mask with oxygen over darling’s face, and makes it out of the house. By which time dane has returned home not knowing his place is on fire and tries to rush inside but is stopped by the rest of the crew because he’s not wearing any of his gear, but he still tries to go in because darling is in there, but they tell him that grayson has already done inside to rescue darling, and then when grayson comes out holding darling with his oxygen mask over darling’s face, dane rushes over to hold darling and thanks grayson profusely. It’s then, when grayson is sitting on the side of the pavement recovering, that he thinks about how crazy he was rushing into a burning and half collapsed building just to save a cat and what possibly possessed him to do that, and he kinda realises he did it because he knew how devastated dane would be if darling died and he didn’t want dane to go through that pain and grief, and he begins to realise his feelings towards dane.
thank GOD he actually learned something from this accident... my anger is getting issues bc of Miller and hearing that there's actually some PROGRESS makes it a tiny bit more bearable ╥﹏╥
He will learn lots of things throughout the journey because he actually doesn't know anything like anything but once he knows them he don't do the bad things.
