they’re so cute, and i also love how the artist actually draws chi-young’s true form as a wolf as size accurate to how big wolves really are irl, like real wolves are MASSIVE, much bigger than most breeds of dog, only the really super giant dog breeds get close to how huge full blooded wolves are, even high content wolf dogs can get very big (i know because a couple years ago i followed several accounts on social media of people who own high content wolf dogs, high content means that they have a higher percentage of wolf in their genetic mix and they look a lot closer to full blooded wolves and are more similar in size, personality, and behaviour compared to dogs)

But oh my god next chapter is gonna be so funny to see drawn cause it’s really funny in the novel. Because both taegyeom and wooyeon are dominants their pheromones are naturally quite strong and both of them have trauma about/an aversion to the pheromones of the opposite trait, taegyeom hates omega pheromones (except from yoonwoo) because of previous trauma from being assaulted by an older omega student who was in heat when he was about 14 years old and had manifested early because he’s dominant. And wooyeon hates all alphas inherently (except dohyun) because of the trauma he has in his relationship with his alpha mother and because before he manifested he was bullied relentlessly by alphas. So when the 2 of them meet each other face to face for the first time, they both give each other the NASTIEST stink eye and glare because for both of them, the other represents everything they hate, and it isn’t until yoonwoo and dohyun come out into the hallway and introduce them to each other that the glaring stops
ok but who the hell would be a better match for etienne’s rank and station as prince of the empire, most likely heir of the empire (because that hasn’t been officially decided/announced yet i don’t think), and the future of house horace as the only dominant omega born to the family in that generation, than rishar who is a grand duke and holds just as much power and influence and is only slightly below steinem in terms of rank and station within the nobility of their country, plus he’s a dominant alpha so he and etienne would no doubt produce dominant alpha or omega children. Plus they could kill 2 birds with 1 stone by revealing that etienne is an omega and allowing him and rishar to get married and be together, house horace gets their needed next generation dominant omega who is also a born royal by blood and while he wouldn’t be eligible to be emperor (because they have a stupid law that says omegas can’t inherit the throne) if he is married to rishar and rishar becomes the emperor (because he is the other candidate in line for the throne because of his extremely high noble status and also the emperor has basically made rishar his adopted son after his parents died) then etienne would become the empress and he would still wield a considerable amount of power and influence just as empress but he would basically be the co-ruler with rishar because they trust each other and have the same political values and want the same things for the country and people so they would actually work together to make the empire better. Plus rishar being married to etienne and etienne being crowned as empress alongside rishar being emperor would only add legitimacy and right to rule for rishar as the royal bloodline would still continue through the kids they have because of etienne

in the novel, like 2-3 months after this event happens, maybe a bit longer i can’t remember, but once grayson and dane have gotten closer and grayson has been over to dane’s house once or twice and met darling, grayson is working at the station and dane has a day off when the team gets called out for a fire and when they get there grayson realises that dane’s house is one of the houses that’s burning, none of the other guys on the crew have ever been to dane’s place or even know his address so they don’t know it’s dane’s house, only grayson does. And then he remembers that dane isn’t at home and darling is still inside all alone, and that darling is old, blind, and deaf, and how much dane loves darling more than anything else on the planet, and without thinking twice about it he immediately runs into dane’s house alone to rescue darling. He remembers this incident and thinks about where darling would hide when really scared and eventually he finds darling, does the same thing dane did in this chapter and puts his mask with oxygen over darling’s face, and makes it out of the house. By which time dane has returned home not knowing his place is on fire and tries to rush inside but is stopped by the rest of the crew because he’s not wearing any of his gear, but he still tries to go in because darling is in there, but they tell him that grayson has already done inside to rescue darling, and then when grayson comes out holding darling with his oxygen mask over darling’s face, dane rushes over to hold darling and thanks grayson profusely. It’s then, when grayson is sitting on the side of the pavement recovering, that he thinks about how crazy he was rushing into a burning and half collapsed building just to save a cat and what possibly possessed him to do that, and he kinda realises he did it because he knew how devastated dane would be if darling died and he didn’t want dane to go through that pain and grief, and he begins to realise his feelings towards dane.
hands down one of the MOST satisfying villain deaths of any manga i’ve ever read, to see him be killed by nick’s powerful pheromones after he underestimated nick as a weak alpha and how horribly he tormented owen for well over a decade and made owen believe he’s a monster and then drug, kidnap, with the eventual goal in mind to attempt to rape and forcibly bond owen, loche more than got what was coming for him and i love it
