Hello! Over the past year, I’ve seen tons of comments from people wishing MangaGo would remove AI uploaders or provide a way to filter out their chapters.
Until MangaGo officially adds this feature, I created a browser extension for Chrome and Firefox, including Firefox on Android, that lets you create your own personal block list. Chapters uploaded by anyone on your list will automatically be hidden or dimmed from chapter listings.
You can find the extension on the official Chrome Web Store and Firefox Add-ons pages below:
Chrome:
Interface overhaul including slop filter: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/mangaglow-overlay/fapomjbpddidpmeehfjpaicflmbfankg?authuser=6&hl=en
Simple slop filter: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ai-sloplation-filter/doeddkdebjpalpnkjpgdnoihipgenffe?authuser=6&hl=en
Firefox:
Interface overhaul including slop filter: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/mangaglow-overlay/
Simple slop filter: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ai-sloplation-filter/
Set the filter to Dim instead of Hide. That way, the AI chapters will still show, but they’ll be faded and marked with the uploader’s name.
The default blocklist includes groups like Desire Scans, Myth Toons, Kaizen, Springtoons, and Paradise. It doesn’t catch everyone, so you can add other slop uploaders as you come across them.
thank you so much!!! i’d also like to add that people can email [email protected] about the situation to try and get an official fix to the problem in the future!
I confirmed the issue and tested the fix locally. Everything should now be working as expected in v1.0.6.
Regarding iOS, you can try switching browsers that allow you to use chrome extensions
https://help.kagi.com/orion/browser-extensions/ios-ipados-extensions.html
For Opera, it should already allow you to download from the chrome web store.
Beta testing this new extension: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/mangaglow-overlay/fapomjbpddidpmeehfjpaicflmbfankg?authuser=6&hl=en

I edited my post to include the new MangaGlow interface overhaul extension and it seemed to remove all replies. Seems like a mangago bug?
As for the question regarding Opera availability, it should be usable as Opera can use chrome web store extensions.

Guess we're adding fivetoon to the sloplation filter
