So don’t bite me if I am wrong but from chapter 8.. I think that the he was the tiger all along? Or it’s completely unrelated, however I do think that the tiger is trying to be like the person he possessed to bring him back, why else would he have to do all that? And where is the body? Maybe he did not want him to die so he connected their souls and his nose bleeds everytime they have sex because he’s trying to make the body? So it will function normally? dunno, I just deeply hate the idea that the original dude is dead, such a tragic loss

i’m just assuming. beom is a mimic type of ghost and when he eats something, he turns into them. it’s shown at the beginning that if he cannot mimic the thing he ate correctly, then he’ll die. i’m assuming he’s mimicking yeonsung because he doesn’t want to disappear. the body being gone is because beom ate him, like legit ate him. idk about the nosebleeds, maybe it’s just the regular “fucking too hard everything bleeds” type of shit. also yes, it’s sad the original yeonsung died because he was genuinely one of the only people who actually cared for the mc despite always cursing him out

You comment made me sadder :( I do hope that the original comes back somehow. But I don’t agree with this being sad because he was one of the people that cared for MC, because the MC looks like an ass right now, who didn’t really care about him. He died thinking about him and MC doesn’t even care, his death is sad because he is dead, not because his relation to the other person

And sympathise with him. He’s so real for the dumb shit he is doing. He knows he doesn’t have a chance so he’s doing everything he can to achieve his goal thinking he’ll just move on afterwards. He’s like a stupid teenager in love and I really like how consistently awkward he is. It is embarrassing but he clearly doesn’t have good role models and is struggling in life. I also won’t believe that his mother is actually sick until I see her being sick. I might be too deep into the „poor bottom” vibe, but I am starting to think she is milking him for money and he is too naive to realise. Also I wonder if the top will ever find out he pretended to be a slut while being gang r*aped just so they wouldn’t attack him.

In short, he really is a bit slow and pathetic but he is consistent in his behaviour, I don’t even feel the second hand embarrassment for him, I just straight up pity him and wish him a happy ending cause he doesn’t seem to have anyone in life who could help him see what he is doing wrong.

Jaeon’s mother really is sick. She’s the reason he keeps striving. And Inha is his comfort and his hope. The misunderstandings will be cleared up later.

I honestly don’t understand why there are so many “second embarrassment” comments. Maybe those people only dream about perfect, unrealistic characters, so they can’t accept someone who is normal and real.

In my view, Jaeon is someone pure and strong, who doesn’t give in to fate. He’s faced challenges that any adult could encounter, things that could easily push someone into despair, depression, or even harmful revenge. But Jaeon didn’t go that way. Instead of drowning in pain, he stood up on his own, without anyone’s help. Even with poor health, he works hard, supporting himself and his sick mother. When he makes mistakes, he admits them with no excuses, no hatred toward his harsh boss. When Inha misunderstands him, Jaeon doesn’t blame him, because he knows it was his own choice. He’s clearly a kind, sincere, and self-respecting person. The only time he lowered his pride was when he held on to Inha’s hand, begging for his acceptance. Looking at Jaeon, I’m reminded of the innocent and silly things I once did when I had my first crush.

I really don’t get how someone with such good character ends up being painted as terrible in the comments. I was almost losing hope of finding a wise readers after seeing someone call Jaeon a “stalker.” ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

Your comment is exactly how I feel about him but way better put into words. He is a bit pathetic at times and clumsy, but he’s not a bad character, just a realistic one that doesn’t have a perfect answer for everything. I added my comment because other comments putting him down upset me so I am really happy that you feel the same way!

Dude I'm gonna hold your hand when I say this, the male lead is weird af. He's creeping on a guy that is two year younger than him that occasionally shows up at his job. He spends all his time stalking him on social media, using that information to get closer to him like a creep. Not only that he looking up ways mimic an omega heat to get the guy to sleep with him, thats alot for someone youve had casual conversations with over a short period of time. Home even showed up at his school!?!?! This story feels like the joker, we're just watching the mental collapse of a very mentally ill young man who is suffering from poverty, ptsd, and abuse. It's rough, and hard to watch. So I too get the second hand embarrassment

Clumsybastard April 11, 2026 10:03 pm

I see people saying this is cute but it literally starts with rape, even be MC acknowledged it’s a pheromone rape, so… I cannot get past chapter 5 because of that, the MC asked multiple times to be untied and to let him go and only succumbed to the pheromones, that is not okay, it is on the same level as getting spiked

Not all readers are like you who doesn't like READING stuffs like that...and maybe they find their LOVE STORY cute and how the Alpha acts with his Omega in the later chapters, and how the Omega softens to his Alpha, and also when they had baby. Some readers likes READING stories with a rough starts. Moreover, if the manhwa didn't come of like that to you doesn't give you the right to question why the readers find this cute.

You're too righteous to read stuffs like this, maybe try reading BL with plots that are light and those who start off with something healthy.

I tell you though, this manhwa is real cute. I suggest you give it a chance, and if there's chapters you don't like, then just skip it. Just a suggestion though. Have a good day!!

Uhhh...I think I went too far with the "too righteous" line and "doesn't give you the right" in my reply, my bad.

Maybe I judged it too soon, but it is really off putting, let me explain why I feel this way. I read stories where rape happens but seriously HATE when there are no repercussions or that it is treated like a non issue. I noticed that a most rape is brushed off in BL and it is honestly upsetting. Is the rape scene from chapter 5 ever addressed? Or do they pretend like it never happened?
In general my issue is showing rape as if it’s nothing because they are men, but then pretending it is all lovely dovely. I read Low tide in Twilight. It starts with the disgusting rape scene and it happened again later on, do I in the end think it had a happy ending? Sure, but it still upsets me how it begun and that it is not a good thing. I didn’t read past chapter 5 of this story because it did not seem interesting enough + the rape, none of the comments mentioned it I think, hence my frustration an the title of my comment. Hope this helps you see a bit of me perspective.

I agree. It seems to be an ongoing theme in most BL. I hate that they make it seem like it’s something “natural”. In Low Tides there was actually consequences for the rapes (even though I would’ve rather he left that blonde bastard). The mc didn’t take it laying down but that’s not the norm usually the rape is just overlooked like it was nothing. Everybody moves on like it was a sign of love or something. I just hate the message it puts out, it’s as if they’re saying rape is okay as long as y’all love each other. Idk I’m going to still read this to see what’s going on but I definitely agree with you.

You should never feel sorry for your opinion because I kinda agree they kinda just always put rape as something that’s not important and I feel like it’s kind of numbed a lot of us because we just want to enjoy the love story but it doesn’t mean that it’s OK to just put rape in a book and pretend that it’s OK. This is coming from someone who actually liked the story and thought they were cute, but I also felt uncomfortable about that part.
