WHY IS THERE NOTHING INDICATING IT'S AN AU???
I just woke up and my mind was still drowsy as all hell, and I interpreted it as Abel being away in the trip and meeting Hardy's brother or something. Like I knew it was Hardy's face, but the hair threw me off so fxcking and I just about skipped the whole scene(ノ`Д´)ノ彡┻━┻
Fxxkin hell, both of them are pissing me off. The art is decent but ffs?? Plot is generic as all hell, even the characters are so flat and unlikeable(small exception for Wooseok, I felt so bad for him being caught up in their shxt. Imagine asking someone who actually likes you to pretend to be your boyfriend, on the FIRST DATE no less??? And he readily agrees cuz he thinks some creep is making unwanted advances, and has consistently shown himself to be a green flag? Yeah, he was rude when ML called him, but who could blame him? Being used as a rebound is bound to piss anyone off ). And MC's foresight is non existent and ML's signals are changing faster than streetlights. I understand their situations, don't get me wrong, MC with his innate want for actual attention and care, and ML who feels bad for something and his solution is to throw money at it. MC knows damn well that ML is low-key uninterested and treats him out of pity, but nooo, he latches on and gets too invested because ml was oh so different from the creeps that usually populated his workplace and decided to sponsor him. Both are match made in wattpad hell.
Also, fzck whoever framed him with stealing the earrings, I don't particularly like MC's personality but I understand his situation. But it was all for nothing anyway, cuz whoever the fxck did it wasn't chosen anyway LMFAOO

I like the direction low-key. It shows the struggles of Nain and how much internal conflict his facing, the horrors he has to withstand, and the build of strength to stand up against Amon. He questioned why he had never stood up to Amon before. Leshah Gwen enabled him to see that he wasn't insane, that all the internal conflict he had in the past chapters about whether human sacrifice and the act of reveling in their misery was valid, unlike the force normalization of brutality he's faced through his years with Amon. Mannn, the scene where he was running away from the monster revealed to be Amon was obvious but damn, does it show how much they fxcked with his memories.
