there was genuinely no damn reason to add rape/sa content to this season. the fact taesung let haebom go alone after witnessing haebom disappear for months is insane and illogical. the author could’ve easily chosen to send his ppl to physically abuse haebom (not that its any better we didnt even need this sort of plot to begin with) rather than making them rape haebom. the first time we saw haebom get sa’d (earlier seasons) was understandable bc LGBTQ individuals do go through sa unfortunately which is real and horrible but GENUINELY what is it with korean bl authors and rape?? the story is such a mess rn it just feels like the author is trying to hit the classic bl plot checklist. there is so much unnecessary sex going on so it just drags the whole situation and now we’re getting another separation arc AGAIN for no damn reason. im finally choosing to drop this manhwa ive given up with this ridiculous “rich top problematic family and broke bottom getting exploited by them” plot

im really hoping there wont be a time skip later on considering the fact hoyeon’s “ex” came back and taebeom hasnt enlisted to the military yet. they started their relationship rather early so im hoping the drama wont be too bad enough to drag a time skip

i love how the author has been subtle with taeyoung decreasing/pausing his sex partner pool. at the start, we see taeyoung having jinwoo as one of his many sex partners but due to taeyoung’s obsession with jinwoo he’s been spending less time with his previous partners. in ch 35, taeyoung chose to go at it with the shirt jinwoo was wearing rather than doing it with a different sex partner. and on the last ch. we also got a glimpse of taeyoung’s call log with a bunch of missed calls from what seems to be his previous sex partners. he’s aware of being a hypocrite for feeling some sort of jealousy over jinwoo’s sex life outside of him but he’s unaware of the reason he feels that way. im loving the jealousy arc i NEED more jealous tops

if u arent gonna financially support the author at least have the decency to respect the translator who is most likely PAYING for the chapters AND translating them for FREE. quit whining and buy the chapters yourself if you’re that desperate. broke ass bums whining over reuploads/slow translations is just embarrassing

this is probably one of my fav authors because they know how to implement communication properly while also adding comedic relief at a respective time. i LOVE that the author chose to prove that uyun is an attentive and caring partner who didnt choose to go for the unnecessary 20+ chapter drama. and even if it does end up with drama im sure both mcs will have good reasons to make their points because both of their positions in this event are pretty valid. uyun is so goated i love his character so much ˃︿˂

im actually so surprised (and happy) to see so many ppl criticize the author’s decision to romanticize rape. i was really hoping for this manhwa to be one of those complex romance stories that demonstrates the reality of living in the omegaverse considering the fact both mc’s backstories were surprisingly well written and bc ive read the author’s previous works (which were well written too).

its sad to see how rape/sa has been so normalized in media i genuinely dont get the appeal of stripping off someones dignity. what was the point of making juhyeok work so hard to be physically strong and almost REACH the olympics if the author was just gonna force him to submit to an alpha?? what really gets me is that su-ah will probably bite himself or some other part of juhyeok’s body to say, “see? i had the DECENCY to bite somewhere else and not mark you even though i just BRUTALLY raped you to the point i hurt you and made you cry” just to justify his selfishness and lack of empathy.

i wanted to stay for the 2nd couple but that would mean i would have to go through countless chapters of sa once we reach another chapter for them so im choosing not to fall for bl ragebait again (￣ε(#￣)Σ

for those who want vague spoilers of the last few chapters (its been a WHILE since i read the spanish translation so i cant remember everything):

yumin and taejun finally have a real freak off. at first, yumin (in his mind) was against the idea of being the bottom due to his impregnation mission but that quickly changed after taejun kept dicking him down real good.
after they’re done we see taejun sort of have a change of heart for yumin since they’re sexually compatible and its kinda implied that hes starting to fall in love with yumin.
i forgot what happened after taejun’s change of heart but i do remember that they both wanted to have a freak off again bc yumin wanted to complete his mission and taejun just wants to crack again but this time yumin actually tells taejun that he wants to top which hes obviously against it so he tries to convince yumin to stick to their previous roles.
yumin tries to change taejun’s mind but since he’s such an airhead, taejun reminds him how much he enjoyed being the bottom and tries to postpone/make him forget his idea of topping him which yumin agrees (the reasoning here could be a bit inaccurate but its something between those lines). the last chapter ends with taejun and yumin preparing to have sex again.

genuinely disgusting for the author to change taesung’s whole character just to milk another season. i am aware of taesung’s slightly overbearing personality during the last season but it was still on the “healthy relationship” zone bc haebom understood taesung and knew he wouldn’t cross that line. its actually ridiculous to see taesung become extremely controlling and force haebom into having sex the moment he sees him when the first thing he should’ve done was give him a hug, beg for answers and ask for his wellbeing. i genuinely cant see myself forcing my emotionally unstable partner into having sex when they went MISSING FOR MONTHS. yes, we all know haebom didnt actually move on with a woman as he’s most likely being threatened by taesung’s family and taesung being sleep deprived, extremely depressed, and emotionally unstable but that doesn’t mean it was okay for taesung to SEXUALLY ASSAULT his partner which he hasnt seen him for over 6 MONTHS. (one of the 1st red flags was the author trying to condone rape as a fair punishment for the red hair office guy so it was my fault for expecting the author to not repeat the same mistake but i was still hoping the author was still sane enough to not let haebom go through SA considering the fact we had a whole creep arc trying to SA haebom in college which the author didnt condone) its also so out of character for haebom to push away taesung when we know they were extremely devoted towards each another. i only kept reading this bc i loved haebom’s character and i was hoping for them to resolve the issue like they always do but seeing how the author is milking rape sa scenes for a quick cash grab threw me off so bad. and seeing how long it takes a chapter to be uploaded just for it to end up being short proves my quick cash grab point to be true (could be the mangago uploader posting late but even if this was the reason it doesn’t change the fact the last few chapters have been extremely short) i will forever mourn the old cherry blossoms after winter and hope to erase this current season from my memory. （￣へ￣）
