Yaoi is known for fetishizing gay men/relationships. I might sound ignorant for asking this but why is that bad? Why is having this fetish bad? I'm assuming it's thoughts people have in their heads, but as long as others aren't harmed, it should be fine?
That is one thing I do not care for in the yaoi fandom community. I like yaoi for the pretty pictures of hot guys, but have never understood the need to “ship”. Like isn’t it their enough yaoi to satisfy the need that thy need to try and see “boys love” everywhere they look?
