How do u get rid of sleepiness without caffeine
Finals week and im COOKED and for some reason ive been feeling so sleepy like i never feel sleepy but JUST WHEN FINALS WEEK IS HERE I JUST HAVE TO FEEL SLEEPY ASF 24/7. Anyways caffeine literally doesn't do shit on me, coffee tea, or energy drinks just makes me have diarrhea and i actually feel even more sleepy after drinking them so how can i get rid of sleepiness without caffeine? NEED URGENT HELP
get a tub filled with cold ass water. boom now you wont be able to sleep cause of the cold. but since summer is here i wont work that much. so just rub ice on your eyes. it helped me lol. 1 reply
Okay so this is NOT healthy and can rlly fck up your system but this is what I do as someone w audhd that also gets sleepy from caffeine
Take naps. I don't mean proper ones, lay your head somewhere and put an alarm every 15min, you get some sleep and the alarm freaks your body up so much the sleepiness disappears for a few hours.

Same caffeine alone don't do shit for me but idk I'm just the kind of person to function on 3 hour sleep per day. I do something that's called power naps, like you study for a while then you sleep for 15-20 mins, get someone to slap you hard if you don't wake up, or put your phone with a loud ass alarm near your head, idk just make sure you don't a...... reply
i cant drink coffee bcs my stomach acid influx and also i experienced something like u did, when u need to study but just soo tired. What i do was just sleep.. yup dont fight it and dont feel bad about it. take a power nap in midday for like 1 to 2 hours. it'll gave u energy in the evening. someone else said, and I agree- try alternative coffee or there is energy drinks.
as for myself, my liver works fast. I literally lose the effects asap. instead I just pivot to a different task, like chores, a shower, self-care like washing my face. anything that is a goal that you know you finish.

As an adhd that also get sleepy with caffein, Try green tea no sugar but dont forget to eat first before drinking them to avoid gerd and nausea. Leave some time gap after eating (15 min or so) before drinking the green tea dont finish them in 1 go do small sip while you study. They have slower caffeine release so you dont feel as sleepy as taking c...... reply
