What makes a story “well written”?
What actually makes a story “well written” to you? I’ll read something that’s objectively kinda messy, but something about it still allures me and I rate it high, even when other people write it off as bad. So what’s your bar for well written? And if a story isn’t well written, why does it still pull you in anyway?

I have read objective masterpieces and garbage books/fiction/comics, and what i can agree on is that every one i stayed reading has a pull or an interest of mine piqued.
