The one
Do you believe you actually “find the one,” or do you make someone “the one” through the choices you make, the relationship you build, and the decision to keep choosing each other?
In other words: Is “the one” someone who was always meant for you, or can an ordinary person also become the one because of the bond you built together?
i believe we are all "the one" for someone out there. i used to think that someone is so special and checks all the boxes of what my ideal partner is when i magically find them but now im older, i realize all the choices and decisions we make for this relationship that you built with them is what actually makes them "the one" always meant for you reply
I do think when it comes to my bsf we made each other "the one" for ourselves since we grew up together from a very young age

But now as ...... reply
honestly idk bc i was always strangely attracted by my one since the beginning, there was this strange connection between us like we were made to complete each other
but i think in the end "the one" is the person you chose to be the one for you after all the time and experiences you shared reply
If '"the one" being meant for you' is something like a fated or destined forever person, then no. Perhaps you can be destined/fated to meet somebody, but "the one" is purely choice. What is meant for you, you give to yourself, and you choose for yourself. Do not underestimate your ability to decide in your life. reply
''The one' can be whoever or whatever you want it to be, in my opinion.
It's all subjective to your experiences and decisions in life and basically what 'ticking all the boxes' means for you reply
it depends. i mean, ofc you meet your "the one" via your choices and decisions you make. but at the same time? what if the choices you make is destiny? something that has already been written and you're just feeling you're choosing but in the end of was all to meet that "the one"? i am very very very hopeless romantic and i dont really believe in t...... reply
