Question page 446 (50682)

no bc istg every celebrity/influencer is like "omgg stop i need a birkinn so bad" (firstly no u dont. u need an education mama, a degreeee, some kind of snese knocked into you bc hello?) but 1: they cost a fuck ton of money and 2: THEYRE NOT EVEN CUTE? like hello? i wouldnt pay 15$ for that ugly shit and you want me to throw OVER TEN BANDS ON IT? eat the rich. like dont even. the only reason ppl are both wanting and buying them is bc of the false notion that they are in demand and special in some way. you want a birkin? you have to be put on a waiting list bc theyre so so so so so special! like bff you have thousands in the back and actively building up that false idea of it being in demand and exclusive. AND ITS PISSING ME OFF BC ITS WORKING. BRO EAT THE RICHHHHH. PPLS LIVES COULD BE CHANGED W THAT MONEY AND ITS GETTING SPENT ON FUCKING UGLY BAGS. HELPPPP. ok bye guys.

Do you guys like the show? The episodes with Hunter tap dancing and Ginny doing that stupid salute almost made me drop the show bruh it was so cringy

I am curious it says Chinese bl but isn't that called manhua?? Can someone please explain to me about it

Seeing all the hoopla with n3wtoki being down, the threat of this site going down, apparently bato being down, it made me curious, why do we pirate?

Usually it’s a money issue, but sometimes it’s more than that.

For example, in my case, I read a lot more than I actually care to buy.
I only buy the ones I truly want to own.

Secondly, sometimes I really want to buy, but I hate the translation. That is especially true with Chinese series. I hate when they anglicize the characters names, but I also found it h jarring and quite frankly how everyone had a Korean names in Lost in the cloud except for the main characters. So due to that, I wouldn’t buy the series.

Thirdly- quality- Along the same vein as my point above with the name changes, sometimes it feels like the translation is too embellished or they’re trying too hard. I remember when Lack of Love was being published someone pointed out how lacking the translation was. If we’re paying for something, we are assuming we’re getting the best quality (isn’t is one of the digs to fan translations?) I’ve heard the translation for MDSZ is not as good as the one put out by ERS

4th- I don’t even know how to label this one- I just want to vent- so last august (2024) a certain small publisher announced the license of the Codename Anastasia novels. I’ve been wanting to read them in proper English (I haven’t been able to find a good fan translation for the first 4 novels). So they’re not very forthcoming with their communication. They released volume 1 in April 2025 then volume 2 in August 2025, so I figured, 3 months between releases is not too bad, but after volume 2, there have been no more announcements. These novels aren’t particularly long, and I’ve seen decent fan translations done in about a month’s time and these fans have lives outside of translating, the companies doing the translation you have to assume that’s all they’re doing. Anyway, if they’re going to take their sweet time, fine, but at least communicate with your customers. I know for a fact I’m never buying anything from them again. I can’t even be sure they’re going to deliver the rest of the novels (I just want them to drop 3-4 so I can be done with them).

So yeah, reasons?

As you guys may know everyone is saying Newt*ki is gone or isn't working luckily I've read that mostly people are trying to take down majority of Japanese and Korean websites down such as Mangad*x is on the list this website isn't on the list so we're fine for the most part and apparently it's not accessible in Korea and other places because they just gave up

Is newtoki working for you guys or is it down. I’ve tried several times and it doesn’t load

This one https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=I0Pwv_IwX-c

I don't know korean too accurately but i tried my best

The guy speaking in the vid, is basically the head for digital comics and then explained what newtoki and booktoki do, how it harms creators. Then said that an investigation was launched to find the operator of the site but they couldn't go through the investigation further as they were unsure the suspect they found was actually the operator. So like basically the operator of newtoki for now, is still on the run. That was what he last heard of the investigation.

It meant that for now all the investigation against illegal site has been halted. Because the government sucks lol cause they gave up on investigating further. He criticised the government. Then said how because the investigation is slow, authors experience more pain and asked the audience to be aware basically.

Then said they had a meeting and now the investigation has resumed again and is trying harder to take down these illegal sites.

Okay my life is falling apart, i used to do well in school but lately i haven't found any motivation to just keep going. When i said i mean i did well, i used to be always in the top 10 when it comes to high scores in quizzes and exams. I'm aware college is a different level, but still if i had actually reviewed it's actually still so easy but I don't. Instead i get distracted with other stuff, I get stressed out about things that don't matter and no matter how hard i try not to be stressed out by those things. I can't focus on them. I really want to get back at my studies, it feels humiliating to be the lowest in your class and being picked last when it comes to groupings.

Semester is almost about to end and i haven't even gotten back up yet. I really want to do better in life. Please help me out, this is a cry for help because if i fail college now them my tuition was all for nothing. I don't want to disappoint my parents.

Who else has been obsessed with that show. I get a lot of hyper fixations but this one take the trophy. I watch edits on TikTok as soon as I wake up, I rewatch the episodes as much as I can, and I’m in the process of finishing the second book.

Please tell me I’m not alone

For reference it has to be worse than Atsushi (from bsd) hair, i love him but his bangs are fucked up

can we have mangago wrapped too like spotify wrapped. i saw ao3 have one and im curious if mangago can do that too!! imagine the SHAMEEE seeing how many hours u spent reading for this year and how many did u read

If you're into this stuff what is something you want to see done in a game, trope, genre, plot, whatever
