Idk guys but after I've graduated and tried picking up some new recs and unfinished read, I grew tired of reading this type of genre. I find it so odd since I never had a day where I didn't read romance, may it be a hell day at the univ, a personal or family problem arrives, or any event, I never failed to read one. I still read some but rarely for now. What I meant by rarely was because back then I read it every day, but now, I can only get pass 2 chapters then drop it.

There's only three reasons that I know for now as to why I became uninterested. First was the plots are all the same and too problematic for me to consume, especially the new recs that I see since most of them contains unnecessary plots and scenes. Second, there's no more romance plot than can beat the last stories I've read so far that's why I don't see the reason to read anymore. And lastly was because life is getting serious and I find reading not so important unlike when I'm still learning.

it happened with "protect your purity" and it's happening with "love order" again. i dont think i can do it, im getting ptsd, my retroactive jealousy OCD is getting triggered so hard, i don't blame anyone either, it's a me problem. idk why im like this. i have 0 idea. virgin X experienced dynamic makes me nauseous, it's giving me so much anxiety, and overall such bad feeling. one part of it is power imbalance, as i dont like power imbalances, but there's another part, idk. i cant pinpoint what exactly it is, but I js can't digest a trope like this. i cant shake it off. even seeing the cover of the story (in updates) gives me anxiety and a flood of bad nauseous feeling. it feels like i have to emotionally cut myself off and distance myself. this problem makes it harder to engage with any story. i mean what's the point of reading a story if im not even reading it with my heart in it? and ofcourse i stop reading these stories (if i can, i avoid these stories at the first place like a plague) but the fact that i even started those in first place is enough to make me attached to the story and now everytime i will see the cover i get reminded of story and it triggers my anxiety so bad. it's driving me insane. i think i need to stop reading for a while. this is not normal, i know, but i js cant seem to escape this cage. it's giving me so much palpitations and nausea. like im being cheated on or something.

I feel like every newer bl is the same shit over and over like it's always been kind of a cookie cutter genre but its genuinely getting worse and worse

Guys, is it just me or has Mangago's notif system been bugging? I've been getting notifs abt mangas updating when I've already read the chapter or they've already notified me abt it a day ago. It's been really annoying since I get excited everytime (especially when the manga is in it's chasing arc) and then get my hopes crushed bcs I've already read it ╥﹏╥

so, my friend and i were in Hackathon project. from our batch we stayed untill the last step but the last requirement for the certificate was submitting a project with group of 3 and there were 2 senior and me, my friend. the group number couldn't exceed more than 3 or less. so, the guide was telling the 2 senior to contact us individually. so, i told the senior that we will stay together and if possible contacting the authorities to see if group of 4 is allowed, and gave both my and my friends info. before giving i texted my frnd asking whether she got the seniors msg, she asked what msg and i told her about it she didn't respond ( she has a child, so she could be busy or something). after sometime, i replied to the senior and gave her both our info. my friend was taken in the group and i wasn't since there weren't any room left. however, no one informed me, not the senior and nor the teacher, she is the guide. my frnd after a few hours calls me and asks if i accepted invite, i ask which one she told me she accepted it. she can literally see that i m not in the group. anyway, she also tells the teacher and senior that I wasn't included at night about. obviously they couldn't do anything. i was just hurt that they didn't inform me that i will be excluded. i m also avoiding talking to frnd for now, cause she wasn't in the wrong, trying to avoid negative emotions, i m just feeling like it was waste of time and a bit hurt.its just i told her about everything, that senior mged, what should we do, stick together or drop out, but that day she didn't even tell me that she received invite and i m waiting like a fool until later. but whatever i m just overthinking. just wanted to get this off of my chest.
