It’s crazy how you look back at the stories you used to love and suddenly you really feels Harry Styles song “you know it’s not the same as it was.”

I was in high school when I first got into visual stories like webtoons, web novels, manga, and manhua, and I definitely had a specific type back then. I was obsessed with the damsel-in-distress/CEO trope. You know, the FL has a one-night stand with a CEO, gets pregnant, raises the baby alone, and then years later the CEO finds out he has a child. Or she gets forced to marry him. That trope was everywhere and I ate it up. Then there were the ghost bride stories. I remember being so obsessed with Bride of Hades. And of course, the world ruled by cats. That one will always have a special place in my heart TOT (i miss being in hs huhu). I also loved the transmigration stories set in ancient Egypt or China, where the FL suddenly becomes a king’s concubine or something equally chaotic. The Pharaoh’s concubine had me so hooked wherein I even saved up points on an app just so I could finish that one. Then there was Imitation, which really had me going upside down, I just loved that story.

It’s funny because my taste in stories now is so different from what I loved when I first started reading. Thinking about those stories is honestly nostalgic. Now, I read lots and lots of stories with gay guys lol. Crazy but I used to avoid the bl genre HAHAHA CRAZY HOW THINGS TURNED OUT TODAY

Saw some users on tiktok saying the comments on Mangago are really corny and woke, and I don't know, I really like the comments on Mangago. Sure it seems corny when they berate certain things the main characters do, but it's better they do 'cause I'm sure there are impressionable minors here. These minors should head to the comment section and see people booing the toxic, rapist ml/mc rather than cheering the character all because they're attractive. Fiction affects reality whether you like it or not.

But it also made me doomscroll more lol and kinda made my memory worse with how much I read

Guys, be completely honest with me, am I fucked? I don't know what I wanna do after I graduate. I mean, I wanna be a nurse or go into digital design..but AI is freaking crazy so I'm dropping digital design I wanna be a nurse but I haven't taken any health classes or CPR classes in highschool and I regret it so much....right now I'm thinking that if I do force myself to go through college, I wanna go 2 years to a tech and then to college for nursing, but I've literally been scrolling on tik tok and my whole fyp is people saying how terrible it is and hard I literally don't know what I wanna be and im scared because it's getting pricey in this generation to even move out and hard to get a job.

Please give me advice, or even recommend me majors It's neither nursing or maybe something to deal with agriculture. I'd love to hear anyone's experience with college, whether you went or not, and how ur doing so far if y'all read this far and choose to answer.

1. Is college easy for people? Or is mine just too too hard? Classes till evening, barely time for lunch, assignments with insane deadlines, group work from hell...
2. How are people so absolutely, completely, BRAIN DEAD...? You talk to them, and they don't understand it, they don't know basic stuff even in their third year and they can't do anything by themselves without spoonfeeding....

Idk maybe I'm rambling from exhaustion of so much terrible group work but I seriously wanted to vent how fucking terrible college makes me
