Per the author’s Twitter, season 2 coming in January. It looks like it’s gonna be January 12.
Yay!
Can’t wait!
In Limited Run it was Yeon-oh desperately asking Jaehyuk to tell him he loved him even if it was a lie, and here we have Jaeshin being the one desperately asking for those same words from the prince.
I like that in this case it’s Jaeshin begging, cus it’s usually the other way around.
Spoilers:
But he won’t hear those words from the prince until the last chapter of season 2.
And he definitely did Minjae wrong, but…
Spoilers:
He does help Minjae and Taekin/Heechan resolve the bullying issue.
I just know Doha and Bada’s names.
Usually I’m pretty good with remembering names, but for this series im running a blank and it took it till the end of the chapter to realize that Doha was hanging out with Bada’s cousin.
I was rereading, and stumbled upon chapter 41-42.
For context, I never not thought Jaehyuk *liked* Yeon-oh. To me it was blatantly obvious from early on, even if he himself didn’t realize it.
Now, knowing that he really did *like* him, and rereading those chapters I mentioned above, how could we read it as anything other than mutual liking?
I thought doppelgängers were made to resemble a human that they had to kill to replace?
So overall. They’re not evil because whoever they’re replacing is supposed to be the bad person no? Daewoon is a rogue doppelgänger then? Cus he’s not a good guy.
How come we never saw Sang-ah going to all these classes?
So many questions.
I’m liking that the focus is on the romance and not the kid. It’s like the kid is there, but she’s not being used as an interference like in many stories where there are kids involved and they just make them insufferable. This baby is just there.
First, Night Song season 2 ended last week, and today Limited Run also ended and I’m not sure if there will be side stories.
I used to look forward to Thursday and Friday cus chapters came out for them on those days.
There are other series I follow that are still ongoing, but these 2 maybe cus they were at their climaxes, were the ones I looked forward to see the most.
A bit anti-climatic, but nicely. Hopefully she’ll have side stories showing the progress of the relationship, and I would like to know the fate of blonde actor? Did his career fizzle out after trying to screw over Yoen-oh?
I’m surprised Jaehyuk didn’t go on a murderous steak after he watched the video of blondie and friends having their way with Yeon-oh.
I just got the official English book, and honestly, the translation for the confesssion in my opinion is a lot more heartfelt in the scans than what they put in the official version.
See for yourself.
Unofficial confession:
“You are…my life.
My world… is incomplete without you.
Even if someone else were here…I hate it if you’re not the one next to me.
So,
so,
Don’t say that it was a mistake…to fall in love with me.”
Official confession:
“You’re the one…who’s made my teenage years worthwhile.
My world…isn’t complete without you, ok?
No matter who else is there for me…not having you by my side…sucks.
So…
Please…
Don’t talk about your feelings for me…
…like they’re a mistake.
The end of the chapter:
Unofficial:
“You are my ultramarine.
You are my everything.”
Official:
“You’re the one who’s made my teenage years worthwhile.
My ultramarine Sky.”
There’s this shojo series called Honey Bitter where for a lot of the story the main character was dating your typical nice guy, but at least to me, I didn’t care for the character. He was kinda boring.
Throughout the story, her ex was around, and he’s your typical stoic, cool guy.
In the end she broke up with nice guy (she didn’t hook up with her ex, though).
Anyway, I feel like this story might follow a similar route, except that here, Ian and TJ have never stopped hooking up and someone might end up dead.
Id seen it, and had read a few scattered pages here and there, but I finally got around to actually reading it and damn…I was missing out.
Can’t wait to see the evolution of their relationship from now on.
This story just keeps getting more and more interesting. Too bad the official translation is 7 chapters behind.
The latest chapter (24)looks like it’s really start moving the plot forward, and waiting 10 days seems like a torture when things are getting good.
SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 24:
A new guide comes to help Eunsung with an issue with his demon dog and st the end of the chapter Eunsung is inviting Taegun to lunch when Taegun catches a glimpse of new guy. It seems new guy is Taegun’s previous guide whom he has some history with.
I’m thinking that this new guy coming around and Taegun in general warming up to Eunsung will finally be what gets them together as a couple and not just a job.
Yeon-oh bringing up the fact that Jaehyuk couldn’t/wouldn’t say he liked him even if it wasn’t true hurt, but at the same time, it was better he didn’t say words he didn’t mean.
Anyway, I was just rereading chapter 58 of Night Song, and there it’s the opposite. We have Jaeshin begging to be told those words, even if the prince doesn’t mean them.
Just found it interesting that in this story, we had the bottom wanting to hear those words, and around the same time in Night Song we have the top asking for something similar.
Doesn’t Kurosaki look cuter in this new chapter tan he did in the original one shot? The art is nice either way, but I feel like the characters got softer in this new chapter.
