I’m starting to feel a little hopeless about these two.
Delusionally, I believe that Brett has never experienced pure love in any form—neither from his family nor from a romantic partner. He has also never shown genuine interest in others until Hayden came along and turned his world upside down. Now, he has to face the repercussions of wanting to love and be loved after never really having that before. Just last season, we saw how he put a dead animal in his brother’s bed because he liked that animal. He couldn’t understand why someone who loves a particular animal wouldn’t want to see it dead. Then, during what was supposed to be a cute trip to the in-laws with his boyfriend, he was raped and pissed on. An effect to something he caused.
I don’t believe for a second that Brett is a violent psychopath. He reacts emotionally to everything he believes in, which leads to many of his problems. Every time he attempts to be normal, various obstacles—like his father or random enemies—get in the way of his growth. I understand Hayden’s frustration; he wants to adore someone who doesn’t think they have the capacity to be adored. I’d like to believe that Brett truly misses Hayden and wants him by his side because Hayden is the only one who truly understands him. However, it’s going to take hard work and perseverance that I’m not sure Hayden can muster to the level he did before Brett’s assault.
Realistically, it seems the author was offered a longer serialization of a pretty decent story and didn’t know how to proceed, leaving us all to suffer the consequences.
manhwa typically follow whatever’s currently popular in manga and that’s fine but there seems to be a huge independent movement of cuntboy manhwa? like actual serializations and they’re always super buff ukes as well i wonder how that came about
This is something I’ve been wondering about as well. I made a c-boy list bc I was genuinely curious about it (since futa is such a prominent genre, why not male futa?) and to see what I can find but it’s really blown up since I originally started. I’m not sure why they tend to be so buff? I’m guessing to move away from vagina=woman/feminine bottom, but that’s problematic view in of itself. Probably misogyny fueled, knowingly or not. I’d prefer to see more body diversity overall as opposed to swinging the popular bottom art style from “twink” (I’m not against more stereotypical BL body types and dynamics js) to hardened body builder types.
I think the first step to making more body diversity overall is having a lot of body builder types just to catch up to the amount of twinks posted already lol. But I def agree with you and think more body diversity overall for mangas is always good rather than just stereotypes, cause for example being a twink does not necessarily mean your a bottom and vice versa. I also think a lot of buff ukes is good cause it presents the idea of breaking stereotypes a lot of people think. I also think it’s nice to see ukes that are presented as “ugly” in their universe but still finding love

people talking about a plot… this is a COMEDY SMUT it’s suppose to be fucking stupid
