Read everything and what a complicated relationship. It's the usual broke MC dependent on the rich ML, ML becomes obssessed with MC and always keeps him under surveillance and MC grew to like it. Their relationship doesn't seem loving at all, more like a power imbalanced one but they both like it.
Compared to other very toxic MLs, ML here isn't actually that bad. However, a lot of people are def gonna be turned off by the story. Overall, it's an eh.
i read on a forum but it seems they approached the adaptation differently than the novel. it's still toxic in the novel but their relationship is depicted as romantic and loving. the manwha adaptation seems to removed the romantic part or it didn't convey as well as it in the source material.
Just to let you guys know, this version of 240j (Timeline 1) are NOT lovers. Rather, they have a more family relationship. J does not see LSY anything more than just someone he should take responsibility for. Since LSY didn't awaken in this timeline, all the more reason for J to treat him as someone he should always protect.
It's stated in the author's postype! Same with Timeline 2, as J only saw him as a brother. Only Timeline 3 (which is the current one) are the ones to actually become lovers :)
