Tbh, in the novel, it was described more as Shinu letting Taebaek do what he wants (bc while he is drunk, he's still sober enough to fight him. But he trusts Taebaek, so he let himself indulge in his own drunkness). It was much more detailed when it comes to their thoughts in the novel. The manhwa kinda rushed that part, but I feel like the manhwa just rushed a lot of things TT
