I saw the artist's Twitter and they weren't paid for their art in this work, as well as in another series. It appears to be an issue with the publisher, as another artist has also complained about them. The complaint happened in 2024 and still ongoing

The author has another manga, Kimio Alive, under her real name - Kosei Eguchi. It has 3 volumes, 10 - 12 chapters. It's not bl and it wasn't finished. There are still no english translations but raws are available in Cmoa.jp. If you want to buy it, you can also leave a review as a tribute to the author.
