Story was too short, so I didn’t get as invested as I’d like. Smut was pretty good and parts weren’t egregiously large, which was a huge breath of fresh air. Kinda wish blonde was more expressive with facial emotions tho; was hard to see if she really cared much from her face. At least she was honest about her feelings tho, so that made up for it. And ex-gangster unnie was mega cute.

Akuchan May 3, 2026 8:18 pm

Weirdly ok with this even tho they have the dad/son thing going on probably because they show how they 1) aren’t actually and 2) are both mentally really not all there. Oh plus 3) there was a HUGE gap of separation so he didn’t actually get to raise him like a family would for most of his formative years.

Like from Nanmun (I’m messing that up), he was abused by a cult in his childhood and then raised by a deranged gangster = def not typical mental development, so then his whole thing with wanting a fam is his one and only dream/goal, so he can’t lose that connection, even if he’s in love with Pul-Gyun (think I got that one right).
And from Pul-Gyun, he was a huge case of child neglect and abuse from the caretakers he spent most of his life with and only got 6 years with the one that actually cared, so of course he’ll hold onto Nanmun till the end of time. Plus the way that last uncle trained him to be deranged, just permalocked his mental development on the psychotic track.

These two will have to just build their own version of ‘normal’ and I feel like the story does a good job of portraying why they work well together despite all the unconventional things people see in their relationship. Honestly, I just MEGA commend the brothers that don’t hide Nanmun for this relationship and recognize that this is his only way of happiness. Like I would've thought more 3rd parties would kick a fuss, but was happy they never gave him flak for it.

Also I love the spice with this couple. Art is great, consent is always there (yes I know they’re not mentally all there, but it’s obvious they need eachother), and I love how they make both partners expressive and vulnerable throughout, clearly portraying their satisfaction and enjoyment. Being on the spectrum, I value it highly when emotions are conveyed well (especially during spicey time, since that’s often overlooked) through facial and body expressions, since it helps me learn what to look for when interacting with others and helps ease my social anxiety. This is also why I tend to read comics more than novels (though I do enjoy novels as well!).

Last note: the communication here is also pretty damn good once they each feel more stable in their connection, so it’s pretty endearing to see and doesn’t give me the ugh from the classic a.k.a overused ‘miscommunication to cause drama’ trope.

SO much of the bad is a result of shitty parenting..
TLDR: Yes, Cezar is a sick fuck, but the pope screwed up his development from WAY too young of an age for him to do anything about it now. Glad he’s offing him. Still, I do like this story to see how it all pans out. MEGA pissed that he’s back in the fucking building again tho.

Also fuck the pope hardcore for ruining those precious children and turning them into mental nutcases. For all we know, Cezar and Ruby could’ve ended up together if the pope didn’t torture him and make him think that punishment = love. Or maybe he could’ve actually been able to maintain a healthy sibling bond, regardless of neither of them having blood connections - maybe cezar is half brothers with Enzo? I think they have the same mom? Correct me if I’m wrong, I didn’t reread from the beginning. But now Cezar is just too traumatized and mentally askew to see past his obsession and Ruby ended up getting beaten from both her father AND the brother she actually loved, which made her almost too mentally unstable to figure out how to get out of that situation. Like I feel bad for the original Ruby who never made it out of that.
Crud, do we know the reincarnated chick’s name? I also forget around when she got into Ruby’s body. I’m on 134 (latest official translation), but only reread from 100, so I can’t remember if this stuff got addressed since it’s been a long time. If it hasn’t, then I’m curious if she’ll come out with this stuff to Iz.

As for Iz and Ellen’s dad, damn I get the loss of his wife was bad (first mentally and then physically - both weren’t pretty) plus the societal gender roles thing, but he really shouldn’t have neglected his kids so much. Like, dude, the kids need to be around eachother more and you need to be there for them if your wife can’t be (starting from when she became a danger to them). T-T

Also Freya… did her parents neglect her once her brother was born? Can’t remember, but I feel like we got some info on her family situation that also shows shitty parenting when it came to her - which can be seen by her being ok with manipulating people regardless of closeness as well as the blatant racism a lot of the country seems to have.

Not complaints about the story or writing. I actually like this story quite a bit since it does well with depicting the characters and ties events in well. My pissiness (like, pissed off ness - I realize this word could be read differently from a quick scan) at the pope just will not be quelled since he ruined so many peoples’ lives

Happy they’re now together and seem to have a handle on the pheromones. Pretty sure the parents will be chill with it too.. I want the bro’s side story to start up!! I NEED to know how that one night stand went down and see more of Joon’s story. This just kinda started to feel like the side chats story would interest me more than the main couple pretty early on, but the main are cute too.

Read up to 39 - ok, middle school (maybe hs for mc)? They’re only like maybe 3 yrs apart I figure (maybe 4? Have they said ages?). Just what COULD he have done to justify this? Like I don’t think there is anything that bad unless he did the same stuff to him or got him human trafficked or something. Like, if Park’s mom went crazy because of it maybe she felt guilty for not protecting her kid? I just don’t see what mc COULD have done that was as bad as this at that young of an age. Like even if he raped him, that’s no where near all this kidnapping, torture, and even getting other people to ruin him.
Like the mc is definetly a brawler, but they haven’t mentioned how he was with folks he got in bed with, so I need more info to guess the possibilities there.

Same girl. Like I have heard so many things about this novel being a little too dark and going over the board as it progresses, and since I'm feeling the tension build, especially having a feeling that he might try to escape again, and considering what had happened last time he did it, I just want to know what happens next, like just spoil me already, whoever has read the novel version, give me your all

Ok here's the whole spoiler, like everything (but skipping some things of course or i'll be writing all day lol); do skip if you don't wanna read:

So basically after this point, there are continuous sexual punishments whenever Jiwook acts a bit out of line, which really makes Jiwook submissive and fucked up his brain. At some point, he has the courage to ask Juyeon is he can go out to the living room, to which he agrees and later on even gives Jiwook his phone but is heavily surveilling him. His friend Soohyuk messages him and he is allowed to text. At some point, he calls him and is allowed to answer. His friend is "worried" about him and, after some chit chat, tells him to come to drink at the university club thing they're doing. Juyeon agrees that he can go if he wants. At this point, things are a bit "better" (and I say this loosely) between them. They go to that event and things go off the rails, he sees Sangjin (I still honestly dont know who that is, I'm thinking many it's that junior that r*ped him) who gives him weird looks, and later on, he finds out that his pictures were circulated and that Soohyuk, who told him all this btw, had a part to play in this. He feels betrayed, but more so by Juyeon, who had told him before that he didn't share the photos with Soohyuk. Woojin, a gang member it seems and someone who had beef with Jiwook in their past, comes in and there is tension and he's speaking as though he knows Juyeon. They have a fist fight and anyways he is dragged outside by Juyeon, who tells Jiwook to forget everything he just heard cuz it won't change anything). Jiwook then says that he feels betrayed by Juyeon because he lied to him about not sending the photos to his friend and that he cant trust him anymore. Jiwook then says that if Juyeon lied about this, then he doesn't know what else Juyeon could have lied about and that he could have lied about doing something wrong to Juyeon in the past. This triggers Juyeon, who drags him to the alley, pushing him and hurting his knee, fac-f*cks him and slaps him so hard many times that he passes out. He is taken back to that room and treated even worse than before (and you know this sh*t is depraved if it's even worse than we have already seen or will see soon). Anywho, this goes on until one day, Juyeon leaves behind his phone while in Jiwook's room and there is a call from Soohyeok, which Jiwook answers. He tells he can save him and to leave the house once Juyeon leaves today (to visit his mother in the hospital). He thinks he cant because he is leashed to the wall but then looks and sees it was only a knot to the wall, not pad-locked. He quickly agrees, hangs up the phone and puts it back. He, who has been pwwing on dog pads this entire time, tells Juyeon that the pads are all wet and he needs to use the toilet. Because Juyeon needs to leave asap and can get the pads, etc., he tells him to use the bathroom this time and leaves (without locking him inside the room). Jiwook waits for a while and runs out the back entrance of the building, where he sees a weird car, and in it are Soohyeok and Sangjin (it's Sangjin's car). He reluctantly goes in the car and they drive to Soohyeok's house and there Sangjin attempts to r*pe Juwook, which Soohyeok had told Sangjin was the price for him to help get Jiwook out of there. There is a fight and Sangjin is about to r*pe Jiwook when suddenly, Juyeon and Woojin come inside and stop the attempted r*pe. This is all after Juyeon and Woojin had visited Juyeon's mother in the hospital and his mother mentioning Jiwook's name and telling Juyeon not to hang out with him anymore (she has mental issues and is confusing the past with the present), and then discussing what to do with Jiwook. So now Juyeon beats Soohyeok to a pulp and then forces Jiwook to be ass-f*cked by the semi-unconscious Soohyeok. Jiwook after doing this passes out and both him and Soohyeok are dragged to another location, and Sangjin is "taken care of" by Woojin (maybe he killed him, idk). In that other location, other 6-7 gang members or people from Jiwook's past that were delinquents which were beaten by Jiwook, gather after being called upon by Woojin and when Jiwook regains his consciousness, loses it after hearing Juyeon's story:

Juyeon was a student and after an encounter with Jiwook at a PC Cafe, meets him again at school. They become friends (which makes Juyeon lose his original friends because he is now hanging out with delinquents). One say, Jiwook invites Juyeon to a hangout drinking session, and he agrees. He sneaks out at night, goes there and gets drunk. He drunkenly tells Jiwook that he likes him and Jiwook is disgusted. He runs away and avoids him at school, to which he then faces and goes to a secluded place in the school (like a sports storage unit?? I forgot what it is called) and Jiwook attempts to r*pe Juyeon because he is gay and "wants it". A teacher comes just in time and so nothing happens. Jiwook tells Juyeon to come somewhere after school or else he will kill him, and Juyeon goes there. He is gang-r*ped by Jiwook and his delinquent friends and is recorded (and here, Jiwook also says that he does this to every girl who confesses that they like him, so basically he has gang-r*ped a lot of girls and took their photos, etc). They threaten Juyeon and tell him that if he doesnt do as they say, they will spread his photos and videos everywhere and directly to his mum. This keeps going on and on, until one day Jiwook takes Juyeon to the library and r*pes him in one of the toilet stalls then tapes him to the toilets, with his limbs also bound with tape and leaves him there. A random guy comes in and r*pes Juyeon. After that, Jiwook "disappeared". Juyeon's pictures and videos are spread, and his mither finds him in the hospital (im guessing this is why she lost her mind, after finding out what happened to her son). We later are told that Jiwook was in a fight and got hit on the head and had gotten amnesia, forgetting everything he had done that past year, which is when things had happened with Juyeon, hence why he couldn't remember him. Juyeon visits him at the hospital and this is when he decides to get revenge after Jiwook telling him that he either doesn't remember Juyeon because he is unimportant or because he wants to forget him, and when Juyeon gives the "hypothetical" scenario of being beat up and asking Jiwook what he would do if this happened to him, he said he would get payback regardless of everything. So Juyeon made him resolve and was obsessed with Jiwook and getting his revenge, which Woojin supprted him by training him etc. Woojin first saw Juyeon after having seen the pictures spread and seeing Juyeon outside the same hospital Jiwook and his mother were hospitalised in and was the one who told Juyeon about Jiwook's amnesia and how he doesn't remember him anymore and to get revenge.

Back to the present, Jiwook denies this, saving its all made up and is losing his mind with anger, and keeps saying to Juyeon that he is doing this to Jiwook because he likes him, and provoking him. Juyeon tells the guys to r*pe him and they all do, including Woojin, and they do horrific things to him, including urethra torture, being f*cked by a bat, etc. and beating him up as well, and piss inside him and on him. Juyeon takes him to the hospital because the damage was severe and Jiwook is hospitalised. During his sleep, he remembers what he did to Juyeon and when he wakes up, apologises to Juyeon and considers what happened to him as deserved. He is obviously mentally f*cked at this point and begs Juyeon not to abandon him and Juyeon says he will stay with him and takes him home. That's the end of the main story.

The side stories are basically them living today (for around 5 years btw when it's at the end of the side stories) and there is sadistic sexual play, and even a be*stality one (which is f*cked), and yh basically they start to "like" each other, Jiwook much more than Juyeon (but Juyeon still likes him), and we go through ehat happened to Jiwook after he was discharged from the hospital, his suic*de attempts due to hallucinations of the man who r*ped him, medications, and also Juyeon's graduation, etc. He also takes Jiwook one time to a college class and puta vibrating dildo in him and Jiwook runs off to the bathroom and Juyeon f*cks him, tapes him up, limbs together, and leaves him there until class finished, and Soohyeok and other classmates find him in the bathroom stall like that because Juyeon didnt lock the door. They don't do anything to him as Juyeon comes in and takes him back home. Juyeon says he didn't do it as revenge after Jiwook starts apologising for having done the same thing to him, and thinks to himself that if it were revenge, he would have done that and left them there overnight. Anywho that's all....

I just read the entire thing and that ounce of sympathy I had for Jiwook is gone, they deserve each other. Like I kind of had an Idea that Jiwook probably did Juyeon wrong in the past but it was really disgusting and nasty, no doubt Jiwook is going through all this, it's his own mistake.

Damn, I had an ounce of hope that Jiwook might’ve counted as a different person if he lost enough of his memories, but if he’d been doing that crap to people before that 1 year mark, then no he’s the same trash and still deserves his punishment.

Akuchan April 29, 2026 11:23 pm

Crud it’s been a while since I saw this. Dropped it after I think the 3rd time the dude had sex with his bf’s dad and STILL wasn’t coming clean. I hear later that the bf also ends up cheating but then the dad gets preggers anyway and the initial cheater ends up happily with the dad at the end.

Cheating isn’t my tea already, but the kicker for me on this was the dishonesty not only with his bf, but with himself. Like I’m chill if the char who cheats is open about it and acknowledges that it’s what they do or something (tons of folks are non-comital - TOTES OK. But like, be honest with partners about it so they’re on the same page and know what they’re signing up for). But this fucker literally keeps going while thinking that he’s a good guy who loves his boyfriend and he’s just trying not to hurt him (using timing as an excuse a lot), so it’s totes justified that he isn’t saying anything about him romping around with his dad.. Like, even AFTER he found out it was his dad, he didn’t commit to breaking it off with one of them (and if he chose the bf, then he’d need to come clean about the cheating still) and STILL acted as if he’s some good person who got stuck in a difficult situation. BITCH NO.
The first was a mistake, so I don’t get why you don’t go to him crying about it (it’s omegaverse - maybe they still could’ve worked it out since it’s probably more common in that universe with pheromone craziness). But the second?? And third, fourth, etc., etc.??? Even if you never tell him, you break up with him cuz he didn’t sign up for this trash.

And I don’t even want to go into the dad’s situation. Pretty sure I stopped after the romping post the family dinner (think that might’ve been the third time or something?) cuz I heard about the ‘happy’ ending with the baby and such and I didn’t want to hate more chars. Like as a parent, it was his responsibility to tell his kid about his cheating partner AT that family dinner if the cheater didn’t come clean by dessert.

Akuchan April 29, 2026 9:24 pm

Yeah so I was figuring that it’d take some drastic thing for Vincent to tell Paula he knows, like her leaving or something but I completely forgot about her sister existing and being an easy way to coax things along.

Also I should’ve let this sit for more than 3 weeks… gahhhhh

Akuchan April 27, 2026 5:54 am

TLDR: 58 was the nail in the coffin for this one for me. It solidified that this story will epitomize rape and Stockholm syndrome. Artist used the wrong color pallet for this tragedy.

Rant/Explanation:
And don't get me wrong, I’m totes down for toxic and psychologically messed up stories 100%. But, like… own up to it? Don’t start putting flowers around the cuddle panels at the end of rape sessions. That’s legit trying to romanticize a fucked up situation. NOT fantasy (which folks are trying to use as an excuse). Fantasy is the world building, NOT the plot or portrayal of scenes. When folks keep pushing that fantasy means it’s ok to show rape as redeemable and Stockholm syndrome as potentially ok (although this work is trying to make it endearing even with the flowery art), that makes me question their values as a person, because these are pretty big things to just skip over and nonchalantly wave away because it’s a story. A person wrote/drew this way, giving insight into their psyche.. which concerns me.
Note: Hogu Hagyeongsu, Killing Stalking, and even Jinx are FANTASTIC examples of psychological and even trauma related stories done well - I’m honestly surprised at how well Jinx has been handling its redemption arc from how bad it had the relationship start (disclaimer: I’ve only read up to ch 94 so far, so unaware of it messes up after that part). There’s others that do it well too, like Pawn’s Revenge, but I wanted to mention ones that had more of an imbalance of who was more sane (although KS kinda had both partners not being all there, but there’s a big difference between a stalker and a psychopathic serial killer), so they’d be more comparable to this work in terms of potential.

And how the hell would Asil not throw in his face that he’s holding his brother hostage the second the dude admits he has feelings for him and won’t do things he doesn’t want (when he said he wouldn’t have sex with him if he didn’t want it and he immediately said ‘then don’t’)?? His brother is the only person that hasn’t betrayed him and I’m pretty sure is one of the few reasons he hasn’t offed himself yet (maybe his sis is a reason too since she more directly threw him back in hell - but he knows that Valery did something messed up to force her to do that, even if he doesn’t know exactly what).

Don’t know if I’ll bother finishing this since it looks like it’s gearing to have them end up together while they’re still young. Like even in effed up relationships, I see the one true lead in the story as the one that got abused so their happy ending would be without their abuser either permanently or for DECADES (30+ years) so they enjoy finding happiness and living a life while the abuser suffers being without them (and potentially even knowing that they’re SO much happier WITHOUT them - depends on how the relationship is and the type of mental confuckulation the abuser has) and then MAYBE they can get with a majorly reformed (and probably still broken, but maybe in a way that’s now in their benefit) version of said abuser. THAT’S my fairy tale ending (since people actually suffer consequences in that case, unlike how fucked up people get away with things because of money or society being a mess in the real world). Or, y’know just keep the messed up endings but make it obvious to the reader that, yes it’s unfortunate but that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

God, those rape flowers really disturbed the crap outta me.
