Love how unserious and serious this fandom can be at wrong times. People here be complaining more about fake notifications then about the brutal content they read
I get what you're saying, but there's a big difference between fictional content and real world inconvience. So if I for example watch a horror movie where everyone gets brutaly murded, then I can't complain if there are any technical issues when I want to watch a horror movie. Because fictional murder is "worse" so we have to suck it up...
I can barely enjoy the romance aspect, because of Jeremys situation (´༎ρ༎`)
I love him sm and I’m aware that he will have his happy ending eventually, but it still hurts sm. Yearning without ever being able to be honest about his feelings, probably believing that he will always remind her of his father (from their looks), guilty for not being aware of the abuse she went through…
Jeremy is that kind of man who will self sacrifice all his feelings, putting them behind to avoid making her uncomfortable.
Positioning himself rather as a knight than as a son, prioritizing protection instead of any affection.

This feels more like a relationship where you gotta be each others therapist, because none seeks an actual one. That can be emotionally exhausting for both parties and usually doesn’t end up well. It’s more destructive then healing. The age difference and it dynamic made me also think- especially around the ending. The way that older guy (ML) approached someone who is way younger then him so he could move on from his past (ex)*, lastly trying to talk MC into leading him by taking his hand (basically saying be there for him)
It reminds of guilt tripping - I took care of you, now it’s your turn so please don’t abound me.
