I'm always looking for taboo, retro stylized series to get into because the art is very distinct for the era and there's a certain dynamic between the characters that doesn't happen today.
Think Kaze to Ki no Uta, Zetsuai 1989, that kind of thing.

As a fujoshi, in my perfect world the population would be 90% male and even the females would actually be transvestites. A world like that wouldn't last half a century, but it would be worthy! ＼(￣▽￣;)／ Anyway, describe your personal paradise here!

As I go through the comments and see all the posts about loving being single and such, to those people, don't you get lonely? Yeah, being single has its moments but when you go to share whatever experience it was only to realize there is no one there, just a big black hole, how do you handle that in a healthy manner? (Getting drunk does not count)

I personally would not want to because I don't want my children to go through the same childhood I went through also there is enough people (7.5 billion )on this planet. But if I were to consider to have a child I would foster one. I want to know what other people thoughts are.

Is there any anime/manga character you ship with more than one person or are you an OTP type? I usually only ship someone with one person (or in a threesome) and get really attached to my pairing so I don't want to read those people with anyone else! :D
The only character I usually ship with different people is Rin from Free! I ship him with Souske, Nitori and Makoto/Haru (and myself if I'm being honest!). The only other one is *maybe* APH England. I mostly ship FrUK but I'll read USUK if it's really good.
Does anyone else tend to stick to one ship per person?

I love that show. It has everything. It is awesome. It is a global show that literally spans 6 continents. It has a transexual, homosexuals, an actual real life fujoshi (not manga, she gets the real thing), lesbians, bisexuals (a group sex scene) and heterosexuals. It is amazing. It is about 8 people who are connected and are basically each other but still separate individuals. It is the most amazing show ever. Netflix almost cancelled it but we the internet managed to bring it back for one more season. It currently has two. I'm basically advertising now but I need fandom friends like I do with HP and Yaoi.

So who has?!!

So when I was reading through a manga, someone was having a go at the uke for never paying attention to the seme's troubles and feelings, I immediately mentally jumped to his defence with
'hey it's not his fault! He didn't mean to be a bit self absorbed, he was overwhelmed and confused about his own issues! Sometimes it's impossible to focus on other people!'
Well, you know, along those lines.

But that got me thinking, since I've been accused of ignoring my friend's issues when I was getting overwhelmed my own problems,
Can you be excused for that?
Does having your own issues give you a get out of jail free card?

My immediate answer is yes. You can be, I don't think it's fair for someone to be expected to juggle someone else's stuff when they're not given time to deal with their own.
But at the same time, it's not fair for the other person if they need you and you just can't be there for them. And I guess if you don't communicate well enough then it could seem like you don't care.
I just think it's an lose-lose situation.

If you were going through some stuff and needed someone's support, but they were too busy dealing with their own stuff, what would you do?
Would you make allowances?
Would you feel hurt?
Would you forgive them?




(If anyone is curious, for me it led to the loss of a close friend, and though I do feel bad for her and the whole situation, I don't regret my actions. I needed time to figure shit out and I'm glad I did, even if it led to more shit. The only thing I do regret was that I didn't tell her what I was going through, it wasn't an easy thing to talk about... but her not knowing made it easier for her to judge me... perhaps if I had... ╮(￣▽￣)╭)

this question is by far unrelated to yaoi or whatsoever but i had to ask because i am a 20 years old girl who's face cant seem to be free of it. and it does lowered my self asteem. i have tried cetaphil, dalacin t, pills, meet with doctor and such it is quite helpfull but then it come back and now i'm trying the apple cider vinegar. hopefully it will be the resolution. so does any of you share similar stories as mine?

I really don't like dramatic animes or mangas,but sometimes I watch them/read them.
I cried a lot in Bokura ga Ita,the anime is just so freaking sad and emotional.

I will be going to university next Sept. This will be my 1st year. Any advice for me in order to do very good (grade) in school or anything else I should know or do.
