well since it's romance they need to convey closeness, ig that's one of the reason. I think HOW they're pressed against one another is the more important thing since it's usually tell us their dynamic/chemistry so I don't really mind it.

Idk why you choose to attack bi people as if only lesbian are opressed or not presented in a media.
