Don't forget the buying of a slave that is even treated as a romance option more often than not and the slave system is never brought up or is that relevant again. 1 reply
Wolfwood (Trigun 1998) - Usually I’m pretty good at predicting character deaths, but that one came so out of left field I couldn't fucking believe it. He was legitimately one of the coolest side characters in Anime history. I was so sad I started crying. (I mean, don't get me wrong, it was a great choice from a story telling perspective.) But I...... reply
Classism. Idk if I'd call it a trope but it's in every single story, i don't expect the communist manifesto from these stories but wow the casual classism most stories have is sickening. I hate the evil maid trope too, let's be fr for a second realistically the one doing the abuse wouldn't be them, maids weren't companions or friends of their maste...... reply
Tl;dr There are way better series than GTO and I just can't let go of the weirdness (specifically teacher lusting over high-school girls) that series conveyed, when they're are many more series similar too or even better than the series without that element present whatsoever and I have bad memory so my opinion seems very crumbly.
GTO is not the ...... 4 reply
I absolutely hate it when people hate on a good story with an amazing plot, the most unique artstyle, and Shakespeare level writing style, just because the themes of the manhwa are simply ones you'd put a disclaimer before starting it. Take "Killing Stalking" as the most obvious example. Look, man, you can hate on the abuse, the homophobia, the gas...... 3 reply
I don’t understand the hype of kiss me if you can, I’m ngl in what world is a celebrity just going to let their body guard punching the shit out of them slide??? that guy would’ve been fired immedielty like tf??? maybe I just dislike enemies to lovers but I genuinely don’t see the chemistry and the pacing just isn’t my thing

zombie apocalypse manhwa/nga/hua even movies are so boring especially if there's a romance genre in it too. some can be an exception and good ofc but most of them follow the same pattern and conclusion everytime. I love doomsday apocalypse more, something like natural disaster that affecting the whole planet 3 reply
I absofucking love historical yaoi/anything but I draw the line when it’s a Korean historical setting. Idk I can never bring myself to get into it. I love Korean bls but those historical ones just suck…also the cultivation sect ones. The tops are all so cruel and I ESPECIALLY cant stand them. I love watching Korean historical dramas but when it...... 2 reply
when authors add unnecessary season, like cherry blossom after winter and on/off like man, it ended already, the main couple's already married, why do you add more unimportant characters just to make it dramatic 1 reply
I don't know if it's unpopular or anything but Tears on a Withered Flower completely lost its spark. Haesoo lost her unique feel and Taeha's been giving me the ick ever since the first stunt taehee pulled. It's literally every character BUT those two keeping me there. Their relationship was way too rushed since it's hardly been a year since any of ...... 1 reply
Some love triangle stories do NOT need to end in a poly relationship. I'm genuinely tired of people constantly saying, "They should just be poly," whenever there's a love triangle. Sometimes they need to understand that it genuinely does not work for every story.
I get it if the love interests also have chemistry with each other and are actually c...... 1 reply
Revered Insanity. I heard a lot about the novel but somehow I didn't connect with it and dropped early on. I will probably pick this up again . Someone tell me. Is it good? Does it get better? 4 reply
Mythical themes and characters in bl manhwas always read so contrived and forced. If mythical creatures act just like humans with all of the typical human failings and hubris, what's the point of being mythical? It's not like this is mythical greek incestuous romance where gods and demigods act like degenerate subpar humans, this is Asian mythology...... reply
Isekai with male mc are worse than isekai with female mc, I rather take 1000 villainess manhwas, than 1 loser guy getting a full blown harem with his bland design.
Also authors should start making more non reincarnation isekai villainess stories, there’s no need to make everything a book or a game and to make mc an office worker who got hit by a ...... 2 reply
Historical isekais stories don't utilize the fact they're historical as much as they should most of these stories could be set in the modern era and nothing would fucking change. I wish historical stories didn't only ever used medieval Europe or Asia and overall i want historical stories set during the bronze age and before. A 2 reply
The obsession with European men in yaoi has got to be some form of white supremacy. Because how come 9/10 times these character can be the devil reincarnated but still presented as characters meant to be desired?? *COUGH* ilay, ceasure, the blonde birch from codename Anastasia *COUGH*these writers gobble on so much white cock 8 reply
1st opinion: japanese manga storytelling is superior to long format webtoon. it is an opinion and nothing more, don't come at me ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
2nd opinion: japanese authors draw much more dynamic scenes with the poses and angles. especially for action scenes (exceptions: dear door and solo leveling and others). looking at BL from both authors, f...... 3 reply
Love triangle seems just glorified cheating. You could argue there's no labels, but I wouldn't trust a person who's two timing. They're actually cool on a surface level, like flirting and crap but it's not so good if they have sex. That's deeper. That's just someone who can potentially cheat on you the moment they find a better hole/dick. 2 reply
'Things' are your daily life experiences by which you get to know the world around you. Tell others about the things you did, may it be cool, sad, crazy or funny. You can also find things that you might want to do and a friend to do it with!
