Man I rlly wish people pick up a dictionary more often instead of using racism as an umbrella term for xenophobia and colorism
Anyways, abt the last bit, ive always been weirded out by the way english speakers, most specifically the US, describes people's skin tone. Like they use color to determine race instead of using it to describe the actual c...... 1 reply
I believe that using things like "black" or "white" to describe someone isn't inherently racist, it just depends on the context.
But for the other topic you brought up, I think that it is actually quite racist. Not dating someone because they are a specific race is majorly racist even if she had a bad experience with a previously Iranian person s...... 3 reply
Yesterday was Fidel Castro 100th birthday and it reminded me of how he died the exact day I had to got back to Italy from Cuba. Like I woke up that morning to the radio going "Fidel Castro dead" and now i think i should take it a sign...he was sending me a sign or something i need to be kind of psychotic so I can be suicidal enough to actually do s...... 4 reply
Honestly, I have never regretting cutting ties with anyone in my whole life. I am that one chill guy with numerous hobbies, no close friends but friendly with everyone. Maybe that's why I may not understand it from ur perspective but come on.
If that old friend of urs talk bad abt you behind ur back and remain friends with your bullies, that's fc...... reply
Regret ? No . Miss it ? Sometimes . Cus no matter how good (and bad ) our friendship was , ik ending it was a good choice for both of us . Ik we were both better off without e/o than with e/o . reply
I was friends with the weird kid. Introvert, self-proclaimed loner. He had niche interests, all of which he dragged me into. I ended up spending 5 years listening to his rambling, forcing myself to read his fanfictions, and putting up with his lack of proactivity. Whenever I set boundries, he would compromise them. Being the person I am, I always g...... reply
im guessing you never had other friends who treated you better that’s why youre full of doubt whether dropping the person who bullied you was the right decision. yall may have had a ‘love-hate’ friendship judging by the way she defended you from other people too. very toxic imo because there would be good days and bad days— now you’re co...... reply
nah the thing is that the negatives outweigh the positives in relationships
even if it's a friend it's real easy for them to perform for you when they're in your face if they're the type to gaslight/be manipulative, but it's what they do when you're not around that matters more
i've cut off so many people i thought were friends (and some family too...... reply
Even if u hadn't dropped the friendship, u guys weren't in a place where you could completely trust her. Even if u kept her around, it would have been at an awkward distance, with a fake "we r fine" smile. So just let go and move on. U can fight with friends, but someone keeping neutral stance with your bullies, is not a true friend. An acquaintanc...... reply
I've dropped so many people over the years especially some of my closest friends. Key take is that people rarely change, if ever, if there was something to throw you off in the past, it's very likely that's it's happening in the present and will continue to happen in the future.
Also it's always a grey area with such people and you're gonna miss t...... reply
Regret? No, not at all.
But sometimes I wish that the person I hung out with every day for almost 7 years would not have gone to Israel and then joined the actual damn IDF, like genuinely wtf

Nah, I don't regret it. After my dad passed away in 2025 I went a bit quiet online because I was mentally fucked. She moved on so quickly and when I did come back she was a completely different person. She used to be nice and a bit shy and she liked a lot of the same things I did. I texted her but the conversations seemed so robotic. The only reaso...... reply
No lol. Sometimes I think abt how she mightve felt but thats abt it. I've been friends with my bsf like 2 years now and using her as a comparison to that other friendship i broke off, I realized that actual friends would never do some of the stuff she she did to me. It doesn't really matter how minor it may have seemed or if its in the past bcus it...... 1 reply
I'm trying to find a short run - maybe 10-15 chapters in total. It ends up with the uke being in a threesome with two mafia/Yakuza seme's. The uke losing their job as an journalist after being set up by the Seme's friend/sibling. As the uke was trying to expose the Seme's.
Does anyone know the name of this run? I can't remember a lot of the unique/identifying details.
Yes, I have (though i don't have such a friend like yours no offense lol). Had a fairly recent friendship breakup around late 2024/early 2025. We've been friends for 14 years. Rather than regretting the choice, i guess i regret the way i handled it or how it happened. But i made peace with it because i made that choice for a reason, however faulty....... 1 reply
'Things' are your daily life experiences by which you get to know the world around you. Tell others about the things you did, may it be cool, sad, crazy or funny. You can also find things that you might want to do and a friend to do it with!
