Yes. If I like the character, I'll imagine them having a cool/hot voice. If I don't like them, I'll make them sound like a reptilian desperate for food and water in the desert. reply

Nope, not at all. I "hear" the sentences in my head but without really hearing any specific voice, if that makes sense? It's the reason when something gets adapted I sometimes find hearing their voices weird, because I never even considered what their voices would sound like lmao.
