Idk how to lose weight
I'm 167cm and 65kg, my goal is to reach 50-55kg first but everytime i try to lose weight i always get unmotivated to exercise, I try to get motivated to exercise but everytime i do it i always failed and do the "I'll do it next time" thingy. Also I'm asian and my weight is already considered fat here, the ideal weight for 167cm is 45-50kg. I can do the healthy eating but exercise... i always failed at it. Can someone tell me how to get motivated or is that something i should just deal it with myself
Maybe this will help you! I’m in a similar boat to you, so I know that’s it kinda hard to start exercising.
Just eating healthy isn’t going to make you lose all the weight. You have to make sure that you’re shrinking your portion sizes and try to eat filling foods. Also every time before you exercise say, “I love exercising. Exercising...... reply
You're already starting off in the wrong mindset. Getting stuck on ''loosing'' weight can lead you into an eating disorder. Exercising means you GAIN muscle, happiness, stamina, health, and a routine.
Eat anything your heart desires in moderation and you will be good. You don't need to ban anything from your life - and it's not a ''failure'' when...... reply
Woah really? You're considered fat? I mean I am 5'2, probably around 158cm and I'm around 50kg and people tells me I have a good balance. Try computing your BMI, I think you are considered normal (?)
I am doing work out everyday and started w/ no equipment and 30 day challenge exercises from darebee. What motivates me is of course, imagining my f...... 1 reply
Simple answer, calorie deficit. Lose more calories than you eat. For me exercise doesn't help much,as long as you're active it's good enough. I'm out here tryna lose some quarantine pounds too. For motivation hmm..Just look at amberlyn reid videos and it'll motivate you (maybe lol). Also never do the keto diet!! It's not easy to be consistent on it ...... 1 reply
What is it you really want? To look "ideal" or to be happy? Well, okay, about loosing weight, here my proposals after my experience:
1. eat very conscious, enjoy it, eat slow. if you are eating, don´t do something else so you can feel when you are full. you´ll be happier and never hungry
2. don´t go in traps, like diet or exercising for loosing ...... reply
I'm sitting here on my beautiful flaccid ass trying to come up with something but I don't know how to conjure up a motivation speech about something I kinda humbly oppose.
I'm rando nobody online and my opinion means nothing but I really don't think you "need" to lose weight. If you were trying to get fit (as in building muscle) we could talk all...... 2 reply
I know how you feel. Quarantine has presented me with a few kilos that I had finally, finally lost last year. What kind of exercise do you do? If it's like those programms that you find in YouTube tutorials, with jumping and sh't, I don't have the motivation to do them either. Instead, I try to stay active, like walking to the supermarket instead o...... reply
Which part of asian are you?Are you referring to koreans/chinese/japanese ideal weight? Because if that, imo is unhealthy.I think rather than being thin, you will look much better being fit. Im asian and i prefer to be fit. Im not that thin and i used to be overweight. I understand you feel unmotivated. For me to stay motivated, i always think of c...... 2 reply
Get a gym subscription. I don't know how things are at your country with mrs rona going bananas, but if you can go outside then you better get a gym subscription.
Staying at home, as you can see, doesn't help. Then you need to get out. I had the same problem and honestly going to the gym is great. Seeing all these people around you exercising will ...... reply
I don't know if you know this but we don't lose weight just through exercising. You should be able to eat the things you like through reducing your calorie intake.
In fact, you will lose more weight by tracking your calories as opposed to exercising them off.
Also! Definitely try to eliminate added sugars from your diet since sugar brings unnecessa...... reply
